Crafting sets in The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom requires a significant investment of time in the game's crafting systems, but the effort can pay off in both gameplay benefits and profit. Among the ten new sets available, three can only be crafted in specific locations within the Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha. These sets - Telvanni Efficiency, Shattered Fate, and Seeker Synthesis - offer unique bonuses and can be a lucrative source of income for players looking to capitalize on the new content. Notably, the Full Set bonus for the Shattered Fate set only activates with all twelve items equipped.
Crafted Set Requirements in ESO Necrom
To create unique armor sets in Elder Scrolls Online, players must locate the crafting area associated with each set. Spread throughout the new map, there are three stations in Necrom, while the Shattered Fate and Seeker Synthesis sets can be crafted in Apocrypha, and the Telvanni Efficiency crafting station is located in the Telvanni Peninsula. However, to create a piece of armor or weapon with a set bonus, players must have researched a specific number of traits on that type of gear. For instance, to apply a set bonus to a One-Handed Sword at a Blacksmithing station, players must have already researched a certain number of One-Handed Sword Traits.
When it comes to the number of traits required for set bonuses, Telvanni Efficiency is the most lenient, only requiring three traits researched. Shattered Fate increases the requirement to five, while Seeker Synthesis demands a daunting seven traits researched for every gear type. To expedite the process, it's recommended to research traits on gear that you don't need rather than simply dismantling or selling it while leveling up.
The set bonuses listed below each ESO armor set are based on a character at Level 50 with at least 160 CP, as Elder Scrolls Online gear maxes out at that point.
