The game prompts Chris to land powerful punches or uppercuts on vulnerable enemies, while Sheva utilizes her agility to execute impressive gymnastic attacks and roundhouse kicks simultaneously. This dynamic duo strikes a perfect balance as a strong brawler and nimble grappler. To further enhance their distinct playstyles, it would be beneficial to introduce counterattacks associated with Resident Evil 4's innovative parry system. For instance, Leon could deliver a devastating melee strike on perfectly parried enemies, providing a truly satisfying experience. Expanding on this, Chris could unleash a flurry of punches following a parry, and Sheva could follow with a series of kicks, enabling area-of-effect follow-ups that effectively clear mobs and establish crowd control. Additionally, as Chris and Sheva are frequently accompanied by each other as NPC companions, it would greatly enhance gameplay if enemies were to grab them more often, giving the other character an opportunity to rescue their teammate.
The same alert status can be given to the players, accompanied by a visually stunning animation of Sheva attacking an enemy that has latched onto Chris. This enhanced remake will feature more cinematic animations. It will also be useful to employ parries and counterattacks when defending against Jill and Wesker later in the game.
