A thrilling addition to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Ahsoka, the latest Disney Princess, wields two powerful lightsabers, captivating audiences with her epic debut

Summary

Ahsoka Tano, the star of the Ahsoka Disney+ show, has become the Star Wars equivalent of a Disney Princess and has made her debut at Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge.

Ahsoka has not yet been added to Galaxy's Edge in Walt Disney World to ensure consistency with the park's timeline. However, there is a possibility that this may change in the near future.

In light of the release of "Ahsoka," the latest Disney Princess now wields the iconic two lightsabers of Ahsoka Tano. Ahsoka, the beloved star of the Disney+ TV show named after her, has solidified her status as the Star Wars equivalent of a Disney Princess. Originally introduced in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," Ahsoka has risen in prominence, becoming the lead character in a live-action TV event set in The Mandalorian era. Now, she has achieved yet another significant milestone.

Ahsoka has made her highly anticipated debut at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in the Disneyland Resort. The announcement came just before the premiere of "Ahsoka," the new Star Wars series. As a celebration of the show's launch, Ahsoka will now freely wander the Black Spire Outpost on Batuu, greeting travelers and potentially seeking information about the whereabouts of Thrawn. The exhilarating moment of her first appearance, which drew a large crowd, has been captured and shared on Daps Magic's YouTube channel.

Ahsoka Joins The Galaxy's Edge Cast

Ahsoka has joined other characters from the Mandoverse who recently arrived at Galaxy's Edge, such as Din Djarin, Grogu, Boba Fett, and Fennec Shand. Despite belonging to the same era of Star Wars, these characters do not align with the overall timeline of Galaxy's Edge, which is set between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. However, Disney has chosen to include these beloved characters, allowing visitors to see them alongside Rey, Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, and the stormtroopers.

While Ahsoka is currently present at Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge, also known as Batuu West, there has been no announcement regarding her appearance at Walt Disney World's Galaxy's Edge, or Batuu East. This could be due to the need for stricter timeline continuity, considering the visitors from the immersive experience at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser frequenting the outpost. However, this may change as the Star Wars hotel unfortunately closes in just over a month. The only exception thus far has been the arrival of Din Djarin and Grogu at Batuu East. It may not be long before both sides of Batuu have the opportunity to meet Ahsoka, as she temporarily pauses her pursuit to explore the Black Spire Outpost marketplace.

Ahsoka releases new episodes on Tuesdays at 6pm PT / 9pm ET on Disney+.
