The five new classes in Diablo 4 each feature unique mechanics, and for Sorcerers, that means Enchantments. This mechanic is particularly intriguing because it offers substantial benefits without requiring much effort on the player's part. By equipping spells into two specific slots, Sorcerers can activate a variety of passive buffs that correspond to each skill available to the class. Despite its simplicity, Enchantments have the potential to completely transform gameplay.
How To Unlock Enchantments in Diablo 4
Upon reaching Level 15, Sorceresses can access the Enchantment system by completing a quest known as Legacy of the Magi in the Fractured Peaks' southwest region. It is crucial to prioritize completing this quest as the Enchantment system will remain inaccessible until it is finished, even if the player surpasses Level 15. Once unlocked, each ability's unique passive will be displayed beneath its regular effects, and players can hover over locked abilities to view their Enchantment passive. While Sorcerers do not need to make offerings or work on Expertise to unlock the second Enchantment slot at Level 30, there is no third slot available.
How To Open The Sorceress Enchantments Menu
When players want to access Enchantment slots, they simply hover over the ability in their Skills menu and a pop-up will appear showing the available Enchantment slots. This makes it easy for players to switch up their Enchantments on the fly and experiment with different combinations without having to navigate through multiple menus.
To access these slots, players can simply click on the "Skill Assignment" button located at the bottom of the Skills menu. This will display all of the abilities that are currently equipped and can be easily dragged to new locations on the action bar. However, there are also two orbs located above the ability bar at the bottom of the screen that should not be overlooked.

On the other hand, a Fire build can focus on enhancing their burning damage without having to invest in unused abilities. It's essential to experiment with the Enchantment system while leveling a Sorcerer to determine the best playstyle.
