Furthermore, the studio is also credited with the creation of Prey, a captivating sci-fi horror experience drawing inspiration from the likes of System Shock and BioShock. While not every game they produce may reach masterpiece status, Arkane's releases are consistently noteworthy. Dishonored, initially released in 2012, stands as a prime example of their groundbreaking work.

MachineGames: The House That Revived Wolfenstein
MachineGames is credited with bringing back the Wolfenstein series, a popular alt-history collection by Bethesda. Despite changing hands among various publishers, the franchise had already achieved blockbuster status. However, it is widely agreed that Bethesda was the perfect fit for reviving the series, which hadn't seen a new title since 2009 (Wolfenstein, published by Activision).
In a departure from previous installments, these games transport players to an alternate timeline where the Nazis have triumphed in the Second World War. The series quickly gained popularity and has received numerous prestigious awards. Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, the third title in the series, was recognized at The Game Awards 2017 as the "Best Action Game."
MachineGames, in collaboration with Arkane Studios, developed the last two titles in the series. Unfortunately, both titles failed to match the critical and commercial success of their predecessors, leading to criticism of Wolfenstein: Youngblood and Cyberpilot.
Furthermore, MachineGames is currently engaged in an exhilarating new project centered around Indiana Jones.

Titles From Others Developers, Published by Bethesda
Bethesda typically adheres to a format where a specific development house is entrusted with a particular franchise or series. An example of this is id Software, which has exclusively handled the Doom and Rage series, and MachineGames, which has been responsible for the revived Wolfenstein franchise. However, Bethesda made an exception for Fallout: New Vegas, a spinoff title from the renowned franchise, by bringing in Obsidian Entertainment.
Speaking of various developers affiliated with Bethesda, it is necessary to mention Tango Gameworks, the renowned team responsible for the widely recognized survival horror franchise, The Evil Within. Following the launch of the sequel, Tango has expanded its scope by delving into different genres, resulting in the creation of Ghostwire: Tokyo and Hi-Fi Rush.
