Both actors have continued their successful careers after gaining recognition for their exceptional performances in Breaking Bad. The show is often regarded as one of the greatest TV shows ever made. Fans of Breaking Bad are always thrilled to see Cranston and Paul reunite onscreen.
Although there haven't been many onscreen reunions, Cranston and Paul have maintained a close friendship off-camera. They became best friends from the first day of filming Breaking Bad and their bond extended to Paul asking Cranston to be the godfather of his child. While the rest of the Breaking Bad cast also stays in touch after the show's success, the special connection between Cranston and Paul holds a significant place in television history. Here are some other projects where they have appeared together after Breaking Bad.
6 El Camino
In the Breaking Bad sequel film El Camino, there are flashbacks of Walter White that depict his notorious character. Walter died in the finale of Breaking Bad, so his scenes in El Camino serve to reveal new information about him after his death. The sequel also pays tribute to fan-favorite character Mike Ehrmantraut and delves deeper into Todd Alquist's twisted personal life before finally revealing Walter's role towards the end of the movie. In one scene, Jesse and Walt sit together at a diner, indulging in an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet.
This scene takes us back to the beginning of Jesse and Walt's relationship in Breaking Bad, before Walter transformed entirely into Heisenberg, the infamous meth cook consumed by a relentless pursuit of power and control. It represents the last time the two characters were truly friendly, before Walt's ego took over and transformed him into a monster unrecognizable to Jesse. During this scene in El Camino, Walter is still relatively inexperienced in the drug business, relying on Jesse for the distribution of their signature meth worth over $1.3 million. Walt also takes a rare moment to encourage Jesse, asking him about his aspirations in life and what he would study if he went to college.
5 Better Call Saul Season 6
Cranston and Paul reprise their iconic roles in the Breaking Bad universe with a new installment of Better Call Saul. In season 6, Walt and Jesse make a comeback as the unexpected partnership behind meth production. This particular scene sheds light on a previous event from Breaking Bad, wherein Jesse and Walt forcefully bring Saul Goodman to their famous RV. Inside, they showcase their scientific equipment used for cooking meth and interrogate Saul as they transport the RV to a remote burial site. The purpose of kidnapping Saul is to intimidate him into representing one of their recently arrested meth distributors.
Additionally, Jesse shares screen time with various characters from Better Call Saul, including a memorable rain scene outside Saul Goodman's office with Kim Wexler. This scene establishes a connection between Kim and Jesse, as she previously acted as legal counsel for one of his friends in a court case. It also symbolizes a crucial juncture in Saul's transformation from Jimmy McGill to the morally ambiguous Saul Goodman, as Kim's story with Jimmy/Saul concludes while Jesse's involvement with Saul commences. Furthermore, there is a candid moment between Walter and Saul where they delve into discussions about time-traveling and life regrets. This conversation provides fresh insight into the backgrounds of both Walt and Saul's characters.

2 Omaze Skit
A promotional video for Omaze presents Aaron Paul as himself, entering the Breaking Bad RV on the Sony lot to discover Bryan Cranston residing inside. Cranston jokingly asserts that he is conducting research for a role in a humorous skit, creating the illusion that he actually lives in the RV. Teasingly, Cranston mentions the possibility of a Breaking Bad reboot and becomes overcome with emotion, shedding tears over his longing for the days they worked on Breaking Bad. The skit portrays Paul's disbelief at seeing Cranston still clinging onto the cherished memories of their Breaking Bad days, suggesting they haven't seen each other since the show's conclusion.
1 Barely Legal Pawn
"Barely Legal Pawn" is another hilarious skit that stars Cranston and Paul, poking fun at pawn shop TV shows like Pawn Stars. The skit features Julia Louis Dreyfus alongside Cranston and Paul, and it's one of the rare occasions where they don't portray their Breaking Bad characters. This parody sketch was created as a promotional tool for the 2014 Emmy Awards, where all three actors were nominated. Breaking Bad received a total of 16 Emmy nominations that year, with Cranston and Paul both being recognized for their outstanding performances.
