Halloween is over, but Gun Interactive and Sumo Nottingham are still delivering thrills. The companies have announced new downloadable content for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, featuring two new characters and a new map set for release on November 28.
The first new character, Nancy, is the latest addition to the bloodthirsty Slaughter family. Known as "Black" Nancy in the game's lore, she has been married three times and all her husbands have ended up dead. Nancy's ability is to set barbed wire traps around the map, making victims vulnerable to attacks from other family members.
A new map called Nancy's House will be launched at the same time as the new character. This single-story ranch house is filled with various obstacles in the yard for players to hide behind. Savvy Slaughter family members can also use the layout to sneak up on unsuspecting victims and take them to the shed for a fatal blow.
In addition to the new map, another character named Danny will be introduced. He has come to Texas in search of his missing girlfriend and brings with him the Study and Tamper ability. This allows him to identify potential dangers on the map and alert the entire team to their presence.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre can now be played on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Nancy and Danny will be released on November 28 at a price of $10 each, while the Nancy's House map will be provided as a free update on the same day.
Editor's P/S
As an enthusiastic fan of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, I am thrilled about the upcoming release of the new DLC. The addition of a new killer, victim, and map will bring fresh terror to the game and keep players on the edge of their seats.
I am particularly excited about the new killer, Nancy. Her ability to set barbed wire traps around the map will make her a formidable opponent for victims. I can't wait to see how players use her unique abilities to their advantage and create some truly terrifying moments.
The new map, Nancy's House, also looks like a lot of fun. The single-story ranch house with various obstacles in the yard will provide plenty of opportunities for players to hide and seek. I can't wait to explore the map and find all the best hiding spots.
Overall, I think the new DLC for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a great addition to the game. It will add new content for players to enjoy and keep the game feeling fresh. I can't wait to get my hands on it when it releases on November 28th.
