The actress from The Abduction Club expressed confusion and sadness in a now-deleted tweet. She mentioned that she and their young daughters were given no explanation except that he no longer loves her. She apologized and shared that they have daughters named Ella and Elsie, who were born in 2009 and 2013 respectively.

In a separate deleted tweet, Evans, who got married to the Titanic actor in September 2007, accused Gruffudd of being responsible for the removal of her initial post. She stated that she would publicly share her experiences of gaslighting and mental torture.

The former star of The Vampire Diaries later accused her costar from 102 Dalmatians of being unfaithful. This accusation came after Gruffudd revealed his relationship with his girlfriend, Bianca Wallace, on Instagram in October 2021.

In a now-deleted tweet, she revealed, "It turns out that my husband, who has spent two years criticizing me, saying I'm a bad person and not exciting enough, and refusing to have sex with me, has actually been in a secret relationship for THREE years. Good luck, Bianca."

A friend of Wallace stepped up to support her, stating on social media, "I've known Bianca personally for years, and they haven't even been acquainted for three years, let alone had an affair!"

However, the issues between the ex-couple didn't stop there as restraining orders and accusations of abuse have been brought into the picture during their complicated divorce process.

Gruffudd and Evans’ Messy Split

The Hornblower actor formally requested a divorce from Evans in March 2021. In January 2021, the Christmas Card star took to Twitter to reveal that Gruffudd had abruptly declared his intention to leave their family.

"I and our young daughters are feeling incredibly confused and heartbroken. We have not been provided with an explanation other than his statement that he no longer loves me. I deeply apologize," she expressed in the now-deleted tweet.

Evans accuses Gruffudd of being unfaithful as Gruffudd and Wallace made their relationship public in October 2021. The King Arthur actor expressed his gratitude to Wallace for bringing back his happiness by captioning an Instagram photo of them together with the words, "Thank you for making me smile again, @iambiancawallace ❤️."

Evans responded to the news by alleging that the two individuals were engaged in a romantic relationship.

"After enduring two years of being constantly belittled and told that I am not interesting, and being denied intimacy while my husband chose to be away on set... I have discovered that he has been involved in a secret relationship for THREE years, all without our knowledge. Best of luck, Bianca," she expressed in a tweet that has since been removed.

Evans discloses alleged text messages exchanged between Gruffudd and their daughter Ella, unveiling the content to spectators during their ongoing custody dispute in July 2022.

During the conversation on Instagram, it is claimed that the actor from Amazing Grace advised Wallace to be cautious for a few more days because of the medication she was taking for her multiple sclerosis.

According to reports, the 12-year-old at that time responded saying, "Daddy, I don't want to meet Bianca. I was only talking about you, me, and Elsie going to universal studios."

Gruffudd reportedly stated, "I understand, Ella. However, living with her, I have to prioritize her health. Any ideas for outdoor activities away from crowds?"

Ella responded, "In that case, let's forget about it."

According to another screenshot shared by Evans, Gruffudd informed Ella that he would not be taking her to a concert, citing her previous threat of calling child protective services during their last conversation.

The message supposedly said, "This father-daughter relationship is far from kind and loving. Before we can even consider moving forward, there is a lot that needs to be done. I'm currently in therapy, and you will need to undergo therapy as well. Until then, we cannot simply overlook what has happened, as your actions have been extremely serious."

Gruffudd files for a restraining order against Evans.

In August 2022, the actor from Black Hawk Down successfully obtained a three-year restraining order against his estranged wife. The order also prohibits her from mentioning him on social media and sharing private text messages involving their children.

Gruffudd initially requested the restraining order in February 2022. In the filing, he stated that Evans had continuously threatened to make false public accusations, sell fabricated stories to the press, and ruin his career if he left her. Their separation occurred on January 1, 2021.

On May 2023, Ella took legal action by filing a restraining order against her father, Gruffudd, and his girlfriend. The move came after an alleged incident occurred at Gruffudd's residence in Los Angeles. Reported through court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Ella accused Wallace of forcefully shutting a door on her head, following a volatile argument.

In the filing, Ella provided a detailed account of the reported incident. She expressed her disappointment upon discovering Wallace's presence in the residence, as she had clearly communicated her preference of not wanting to meet her father's girlfriend before. According to Ella, as she attempted to leave, the Respondent forcefully closed the door, resulting in the door hitting her head and arm. This led to bruises on her arm and a small bump on her head, as stated in the filing.

Ella claimed that she had thrown milk on Gruffudd's bed and raw oatmeal at him, and in response, both the actor and Wallace accused her of being manipulative, abusive, and narcissistic. In June 2023, a judge denied Ella's request for a restraining order against Wallace, stating that she had failed to provide sufficient evidence. However, the temporary restraining order against her father was extended until a hearing on July 13.
