Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans' Shocking Divorce Amid Family Drama: Surprising Twist in Final Settlement!

Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans are officially divorced, however, their ongoing drama shows no signs of stopping. As per court documents obtained by We, a Los Angeles court granted a "dissolution of marriage" on Monday, July 3, citing the emergence of "irreconcilable differences" within the relationship.

The ruling has been issued almost two months since Gruffudd, aged 49, requested to be legally recognized as single while he and Evans finalize their settlement, which is still pending. According to the filing on Monday, Evans, aged 54, agreed to the request as long as certain conditions were included. However, the specific conditions were not mentioned in the documents.

In March 2021, it was confirmed by Us that Gruffudd had filed for divorce from Evans after being married for 13 years. Two months prior, Evans took to Twitter to claim that her then-husband wanted to end their marriage. (The couple has two daughters, Ella aged 13, and Elsie aged 9.)

In January 2021, Evans shared the unfortunate news of her husband and soulmate of two decades, Ioan Gruffudd, revealing his intention to leave his family beginning next week. She expressed her confusion and sadness on behalf of herself and their young daughters, noting that no reason was provided except for the statement that he no longer loves her. Evans apologized for the situation. In October 2021, Gruffudd made his relationship with Bianca Wallace public, while Evans claimed he had been involved in an affair.

"So as it turns out, despite two years of constantly belittling me, accusing me of being a terrible person, and losing interest in me sexually, my husband has been secretly involved in a three-year-long relationship behind our backs. Best of luck, Bianca," she wrote in a now-deleted tweet. (Gruffudd, on his end, chose not to address the accusations at that time.)

Following the media attention garnered by Evans' Twitter claims, Gruffudd sought and obtained a three-year restraining order that prohibited her from discussing him on social media and sharing private communications involving their children.

The drama escalated earlier this year when it was confirmed by Us that the eldest daughter of the former couple took legal action by filing a restraining order against Gruffudd and his girlfriend for the prevention of domestic violence. According to documents obtained by the Daily Mail in May, the order was filed because Wallace, aged 30, had allegedly forcefully closed a door on Ella's head during a heated argument that occurred during their initial meeting. Ella claimed, "While attempting to leave, she abruptly shut the door, causing it to strike my head and arm. As a result, my arm suffered bruising and I developed a small bump on my head."

In June, Ella's request against Wallace was denied by the judge, who ruled that the teenager failed to meet the necessary burden of proof. Nonetheless, the temporary restraining order against her father was extended until their hearing scheduled for July 13.
