Lady Anghalhad, also known as Lady Anne, initially lacks trust when she encounters Percival's party. This is evident before the opening of episode 6 of Four Knights of the Apocalypse, when Ironside approaches her mansion and offers protection for the people of Sistana in exchange for finding a fragment of the Coffin of Eternal Darkness artifact.
Anne possesses the ability to discern if someone is lying, which is indicated by dark marks on their aura. In her vision, Ironside appears as pure darkness, while Percival radiates pure light. Though she initially attacks Percival's party upon their introduction, she quickly clears up the misunderstanding and entrusts the artifact fragment to Percival.
The Artifact
Throughout the episode, it becomes evident that Anne and her father find themselves in a precarious situation. Duke Galden, Anne's father, humbly submits to Ironside in order to ensure the safety of the people of Sistana. However, Anne remains skeptical of Ironside's claims, boldly accusing him of lying in front of the townspeople, and risking her own life for her defiance.
In episode 6 of Four Knights of the Apocalypse, an image from Our Website showcases the artifact and ritual employed. This intimidatingly named artifact, known as the Coffin of Eternal Darkness, holds more significance than meets the eye. According to Sin's account, it was originally forged to contain the demon race, with the Goddess Race offering their own sacrifice for its creation. Sin surmises that if Ironside were to obtain all the fragments, he would be willing to sacrifice the entire town.
Ironside deceives everyone by claiming to use the artifact to protect Sistana from impending disaster. Duke Galden echoes this false information when they unveil the almost finished artifact to the townspeople. Allegedly, the disaster they are guarding against is the Kingdom of Liones summoning a demonic army to annihilate all of Britannia.
Unfortunately, the heroes encounter a setback as the final piece of the artifact is stolen by Ironside's mischievous familiar, who disguises themselves as one of Lady Anne's servants. When Ironside initiates the ritual, his true nature is exposed to Duke Galden. He orders his servant to forcefully propel the Duke into a wall, as they offer the entire town to the encroaching darkness, which seeks to consume their blood. This revelation occurs towards the conclusion of Four Knights of the Apocalypse episode 6.
The Knight

Ironside returns as the primary antagonist following Percival and his team's clashes with Pellegarde and Talisker in previous episodes. He remains a prominent figure in Percival's thoughts, given the harm he caused the young boy. Fortunately, Sin, Donny, and Nasiens assist Percival in maintaining his focus.
The audience is already aware of Ironside's deceit when he claims to be helpful, a fact confirmed when he attempts to harm both Percival and Anne using his magic. Additionally, he shows no interest in de-escalating the situation when the Duke turns against him. As mentioned earlier, Ironside discards any pretense of courtesy once he achieves his goals.
The reason Percival doesn't oppose him is that he lacks mastery over his magic, as previously demonstrated in the episode. His magical abilities only surfaced in episode 3, and he is acutely aware of Ironside's overwhelming power, which surpasses him by at least tenfold. Although Percival was successful in confronting Pellegrade and defeating Talisker, it does not indicate his readiness to face Ironside.
Final Thoughts
Episode 6 of Four Knights of the Apocalypse felt short due to its fast-paced narrative. The misunderstandings between Percival and Anne were quickly resolved, and it was evident from the start that Ironside was a villain. The looming ritual added urgency to their mission, like a ticking clock.
The town of Sistana is running out of time as its citizens face imminent danger. The heroes must decide between dispersing the artifact or destroying it completely. A showdown with Ironside is inevitable, but fans will have to wait until next week to discover what unfolds next.
