Additionally, Pellegarde, a knight from Camelot, sought Percival's strength, and Lancelot aided Percival in escaping. Determined to find the other two knights, Percival and Lancelot decided to embark on a journey together. Along their path, they encountered a group of former holy knights who now operated a circus.

During their journey, they also uncovered the startling truth that King Arthur had been kidnapped by Ironside, the Finger of God's commander, who had also slain Percival's grandfather. Vowing to rescue the king and avenge his grandfather, Percival made a promise. The episode concluded with Percival and Lancelot arriving in Echo Gorge, where they sensed a powerful presence.
