The Secret Trick to Unlocking the Coveted Ashava Mount in Diablo 4

Discover the truth behind the elusive Ashava Mount Trophy in Diablo 4 Blizzard addresses player concerns and sheds light on the possible reasons behind the challenge's difficulty

Initially mistaken for a bug, some Diablo 4 players were left puzzled when they failed to receive the Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy, a highly sought-after reward earned by conquering the challenge of the Diablo 4 Server Slam event. This event offered players a chance to win some amazing prizes, but earning the trophy was no easy feat as it required players to reach Level 20 and take down Ashava. Despite several players reporting the issue to Activision Blizzard, the reason behind the missing reward remained unclear, leaving many players wondering why they were unable to claim their well-deserved trophy.

After receiving several bug reports, Adam Fletcher, the community lead for Diablo 4, addressed the concerns in a forum post. He clarified that the Cry of Ashava trophy was a limited reward exclusively available to players who defeated Ashava at Level 20 during the Diablo 4 server slam. Unfortunately, those who defeated the boss before or after the event, even if they met the requirements, were not eligible for the reward. This also applied to Early Access players who defeated Ashava before the server slam but were not present during the event. Fletcher specified that killing Ashava at any level, including 20+, before or after the event, did not grant the trophy.

However, despite Fletcher's attempt at clarification, players who met the requirements during the Diablo 4 server slam are still reporting that they did not receive the Cry of Ashava mount trophy. One forum user expressed frustration after leveling their rogue to level 20 and defeating the boss with friends watching, yet still not receiving the reward. Nei also reminded others that Activision Blizzard had previously stated that meeting the requirements during beta testing would result in receiving the trophy. It remains unclear whether this issue is a legitimate bug or a result of players failing to meet the requirements and be present during the server slam. Regardless, Activision Blizzard will need to address the issue through patches and improved communication with players on the forums.

Diablo 4 is available now in early access with its full launch coming June 6 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
