Throughout the storyline of My Hero Academia, Katsuki Bakugo's character has consistently exhibited a strong disdain towards Deku and has frequently displayed aggression towards others. This particular demeanor has led the antagonists to conclude that Bakugo possesses an inherent inclination towards wickedness, which sparked their belief in the possibility of enticing him to join their ranks. Consequently, All For One orchestrated the capture of Bakugo by his Vanguard Action Squad, with the hope of persuading him to switch sides.
Unfortunately for the villains, Bakugo remained steadfast in his stance and never entertained the idea of becoming a villain. Despite his unique personality, he found immense joy in being a hero and greatly idolized All Might, which further solidified his determination to stay on the heroic path. However, following Bakugo's abduction, All Might was compelled to engage in a fierce battle against AFO. Regrettably, this confrontation marked the end of Toshinori Yagi's hero career as he completely depleted his One For All quirk during the intense fight.

The development had a profound impact on Bakugo, as his kidnapping ultimately led to his beloved hero's retirement. Without All For One's schemes, All Might might have continued as a hero, possibly retiring on his own terms. This gave Bakugo ample reason to combat AFO, a chance he finally seized during the final battle.
Additionally, it is important to note that Katsuki Bakugo is the deuteragonist in the My Hero Academia series. Consequently, it was inevitable for him to play a role in the series' ultimate confrontation. Fortunately, the story unfolded in a manner that positioned Tomura Shigaraki as the primary antagonist, with AFO assuming the role of the secondary adversary.
In the My Hero Academia manga, Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo can be seen together. It is evident that both characters inherit All Might's legacy on multiple occasions. Consequently, it was inevitable for these two heroes to encounter the same adversaries as All Might would have. Given All Might's relentless efforts to defeat All For One throughout his heroic career, it is only logical that Deku and Bakugo find themselves pitted against the two individuals associated with the villain, namely Tomura Shigaraki and All For One.
It is fortunate that the fight has been excellently arranged. Considering that Deku possesses the One For All (OFA) quirk and Tomura Shigaraki holds the All For One (AFO) quirk, it is logical that they would face off against each other. Furthermore, All For One has been considerably weakened, making him an ideal adversary for Bakugo, who has recently recovered from a severe injury.
