In the realm of comics, the boundaries between magic and science are distinct, but it is plausible to interpret Kang's inventions as a form of magical prowess. This hypothetical link has the potential to position Shang Chi at the focal point of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the upcoming phases.

While Shang Chi has never held the esteemed title of an Avengers' leader, he has been a valuable member of Earth's Mightiest Heroes on several occasions. Often taking on the role of a supporting character, Tony Stark equips him with technologically enhanced weapons to combat formidable adversaries. Additionally, Shang Chi has contributed to diffusing tense situations through the power of meditation. Notable collaborations include teaming up with Wolverine, Black Widow, and Captain America.
