Their family grew with the arrival of their son, Joshua, in 2016. Additionally, they welcomed their adopted daughters Naleigh and Adalaide in 2009 and 2012, respectively.

After less than one year of dating, the couple got engaged.

2007

Heigl and Kelley got married at Stein Eriksen Lodge, a luxury ski resort in Park City, Utah.

2010

Heigl and Kelley relocated to Utah after welcoming their eldest daughter into their family. In an interview with E! News, the actress shared that they made the decision to leave Hollywood because she felt unsure about raising children in Los Angeles.

2011

Kelley visited Studio City Tattoo parlor to get ink inspired by Heigl and Naleigh.

“My wife’s birthday is November 24 and Naleigh’s is on November 23, so her 23 is in Korean and the Sagittarius symbol is in the middle,” Kelley wrote via X.

2017

In celebration of their 10th wedding anniversary, the couple decided to recreate a nude photo that Heigl had previously shared on Instagram.

Heigl reminisced about how, when she and @joshbkelley had only been dating for a few months, they had taken a quirky photo inspired by the movie "The Royal Tenenbaums." Fast forward 12 years later, they recreated the photo to mark their 10 years of marriage.

Reflecting on the changes over the years, Heigl mentioned that she had quit smoking and gained a few pounds. She also noted that she no longer indulges in spontaneous acts like taking bathtub photos in the middle of the night. Despite these changes, her deep love and desire to be with her husband remained unwavering.

2019

The couple hit another milestone when they celebrated 12 years of marriage. Heigl took to Instagram to write a special tribute to her husband.

"I am incredibly grateful for this man, this day, this marriage. I feel lucky that he found me, that I found him, and that we have both grown and improved because of each other," she expressed. "Happy 12th anniversary to the love of my life. Thank you for always showing unwavering love and loyalty, for being a comforting place for me, and for bringing so much joy and laughter into my life."

The actress from 27 Dresses continued, "I can't believe how much I love you! My love for you is still as strong as ever, and I feel truly blessed to have you in my life. Nobody compares to you, @joshbkelley."

2020

In 2020, Heigl was featured in many of her husband's music videos and also appeared on the cover of his album, "My Baby & The Band." Kelley praised his wife, saying they are similar in some ways but also have differences that make their relationship fun and exciting.

2023

Heigl shared a funny video in November where her husband had a go at styling her hair. Kelley playfully took a piece of her hair and twisted it around a curling wand, all while putting on a southern accent to really get into the hairstylist character.

"During the holiday season, it's important for every girl to have a hairstylist she can trust," Heigl wrote in the caption of the video. "I've been lucky to work with @joshbkelley for nearly 20 years. He's the best at creating beach waves and keeping secrets! ️."
