The Jaw-Dropping Twist: Bakugo's Epic Showdown Reveals My Hero Academia's Epic Final Arc Flaw!

My Hero Academia's final arc disappoints with its lack of tension and consequences, as Bakugo's effortless rescue of All Might exposes the series' greatest flaw

The alleged spoilers and raw scans for the upcoming issue of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga were recently released earlier this week. Although the official release date for the chapter is October 23, 2023, the series' leakers have a history of providing reliable information.

Fans are eagerly discussing the latest developments in the My Hero Academia manga, which reportedly include Katsuki Bakugo making a flashy return to the battlefield. According to the spoilers, Izuku "Deku" Midoriya will throw Bakugo towards All Might and All For One, and Bakugo will swiftly disarm All For One while rescuing the former Symbol of Peace.

My Hero Academia’s final arc continues to show flagrant disregard for any stakes or consequences

Although praised instantly by many My Hero Academia fans, this incredibly exciting development has caused a shift in some opinions. Critiques have emerged stating that Bakugo effortlessly rescuing All Might represents a flaw in the final arc (so far).

According to the recent raw scans and spoilers of the My Hero Academia manga, Bakugo successfully rescued All Might from All For One without much difficulty. Some may argue that All For One was caught off guard, but it's improbable that he had no knowledge of Bakugo's approach.

The biggest flaw in the series' final arc is the lack of stakes and consequences during the major war. Even characters like Toya Todoroki, also known as Dabi, who fans expected to die, have somehow managed to survive despite sustaining severe injuries.

So far, the only confirmed death in the final arc is that of Himiko Toga. However, fans have not received any solid confirmation of her demise since her last appearance in My Hero Academia.

Then, undoubtedly, there's Bakugo, who had met his demise but has undeniably been effectively resurrected, reaching a state of immediate readiness to rejoin the battlefield.

The content undermines the significance of the "major war" in the series' final saga. Although death is not essential to create tension or a good storyline, a legitimate war arc usually requires some form of significant loss or consequence.

While it is probable that All For One will be ultimately defeated, this outcome is expected and does not have enough impact to be considered a genuine consequence.

While some fans may claim that My Hero Academia is not intended to be that type of story, there are instances within the series that contradict this assertion.

A significant example is the demise of Sir Nighteye after the Shie Hassaikai arc. Considering the relatively limited scale of that conflict compared to the extensive war in the final arc, it becomes challenging to argue that the absence of fatalities or repercussions in the latter should not be considered a significant weakness.

Horikoshi is ultimately in control of the story, and he will write it in a way that he finds most appealing and logical. Fans who are devoted to the series will probably be satisfied with whatever happens in the end. However, the final arc is not immune to being criticized, particularly in this particular aspect.
