Entitled "Betrayed," episode 3 of Secret Invasion showcases a series of intricate plots and surprising turns. With rumors suggesting Daisy's appearance in the show and considering her significant presence in the Marvel Comics storyline, anticipation grew for her long-awaited return to the MCU in this particular episode. Regrettably, that hope was ultimately dashed.

Daisy Johnson/Quake is an Inhuman on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

In addition to fans clamoring for the return of the beloved Agents of SHIELD character, there is a legitimate reason for Daisy's presence in Secret Invasion. Drawing inspiration from the Marvel Comics storyline of the same name, Kevin Feige and his team have the opportunity to delve deeper into the events depicted in the comics. This includes Fury seeking Daisy's assistance in defeating the Skrulls, whereby she assembles a covert team of warriors who play a crucial role in defeating these shape-shifting adversaries.

Given that the Avengers and other super-powered individuals in the MCU are intentionally sidelined in the battle against Gravik, it makes sense for Fury to discreetly enlist Daisy's help as his best chance at victory. This decision would also serve as a gratifying payoff for fans who have shown unwavering support and hope for Bennett's character to make her proper MCU debut after her impressive stint in Agents of SHIELD. Taking into account the information available regarding the rest of the Multiverse Saga, Secret Invasion represents Marvel Studios' prime opportunity to bring Daisy back into the fold.

Quake's absence in Secret Invasion episode 3 does not guarantee her permanent exclusion from the show. With three episodes remaining, there is ample opportunity for Daisy to make an appearance. Given Emilia Clarke's character G'iah's presumed demise, Fury will be in dire need of assistance, prompting him to finally call for backup.
