Players diving into Santa Monica Studio’s God of War Ragnarok can expect to encounter a plethora of ill-tempered foes to vanquish throughout their journey. However, a side-splitting new video showcases that certain enemies can become exceptionally moody when Kratos disrupts their routines. Widely recognized for their incredibly successful God of War franchise, a recent job posting suggests that Santa Monica Studio could be in the works on a fresh game that may not be connected to the iconic series.
Following the critically acclaimed 2018 God of War reboot, God of War Ragnarok elevates its predecessor's emotionally charged storyline and brutal hand-to-hand combat to provide one of the most captivating gaming experiences of 2022. Taking place three years after the events of God of War, the ambitious sequel introduces additional Realms for Kratos and Atreus to explore as they embark on a lengthy campaign that pits them against a wide variety of powerful mythic creatures. Despite receiving high praise from both critics and players for its impressive level of polish, a few glitches in God of War Ragnarok still managed to sneak through the cracks, resulting in some comical outcomes.
A Redditor by the username of yet-more-bees recently shared a clip on r/GodofWar, showcasing the amusing encounters that can arise due to bugs in the popular action game, God of War Ragnarok. The clip captures yet-more-bees fighting The Hateful, an optional boss in the game, located near the edge of a small cliff. As a result of a flurry of attacks, The Hateful is pushed over the edge, and its life bar disappears. The creature is then seen standing passively in front of Kratos before taking off on a hilariously awkward run to the edge of the cliff and climbing back up, seemingly satisfied to have the higher ground once more. The encounter amused many God of War Ragnarok fans who found The Hateful's gait and attitude to be quite amusing. One commenter even found the Draugr's prancing to be "kinda cute." Interestingly, in another player's game, The Hateful simply disappeared after being knocked off its perch.
Despite the incredible attention to detail in God of War Ragnarok, there are still a few unpatched bugs that can either amuse or annoy players. This humorous clip serves as a reminder of this fact. Although the battle may not have played out as expected, it still provides players with an amusing memory. God of War Ragnarok is currently available on both PS4 and PS5.
