The Handmaid's Tale Star Yvonne Strahovski Expecting Baby No 3: Glowingly Gorgeous Baby Bump Revealed!

Yvonne Strahovski took to Instagram on Wednesday, June 21, to share the exciting news that she is expecting her third child with husband Tim Loden. In the photo, the Handmaid's Tale star proudly showed off her baby bump, with their adorable dog, Pizza, making an appearance too. Yvonne also mentioned that there was another special guest in the photo, referring to their little one hiding behind her.

Strahovski proudly displayed her blossoming belly in a sleek black tank top and coordinating leggings. Standing behind his mother in the photo, their youngest son, whose name remains undisclosed, added a sweet touch to the picture.

After making their exciting announcement, the couple received warm congratulations from their celebrity friends and Strahovski's fellow cast members.

Sarah Lancaster expressed her joy for her former costar, emphasizing her happiness for them. She commented, "Oh my gosh, I'm incredibly happy for you!" Strahovski and Loden became parents for the first time in October 2018, welcoming their son William.

Strahovski expressed her overwhelming love on Instagram, sharing a photo of her firstborn and stating, "My heart has melted into a billion pieces a thousand times already. We have been blessed with the greatest joy of our lives, our baby boy. Welcome to the world Peanut, your parents love you beyond measure and you are already my little dream boat. My heart has been stolen!"

During the 2021 Emmys, Strahovski announced her pregnancy with her second child. Just a few months later in December, the couple welcomed their second son.

After becoming a mother, the actress from "The Tomorrow War" noticed a shift in her portrayal of Serena Joy on "The Handmaid's Tale." This change became even more pronounced in season 4 when it was revealed that Serena Joy was expecting a child with her husband, Fred Waterford (played by Joseph Fiennes).

"Motherhood has a profound impact on you. It can be incredibly challenging and make you question if you're prepared to face it. It forces you to examine your own identity and who you are as a person," Strahovski shared with Gold Derby in May 2021. "It's almost like you're confronting your own transformation and the person you're about to become. You're not just giving birth to a child, but also to yourself as a mother."

Serena's main focus now is no longer Fred, as she is currently questioning her priorities and grappling with her emotions. The betrayal she experienced from Fred has left a deep wound, and now that she holds the power in their situation, she embraces it fully this season. Following Fred's brutal demise on the Hulu series, Serena has taken on the role of a single mother, raising her son Noah. Although a sixth and final season of the show has been confirmed, the exact date of its premiere has not been revealed yet.
