Elisabeth Moss is excited to have her child visit the set of The Handmaid's Tale. She shared with Business Insider on May 28 that she believes it will be a wonderful experience. Moss is looking forward to bringing a new perspective to her character June and the show.

Moss, who portrays June in the Hulu drama, expressed that she believes the impact of the situation will become apparent over time. She is confident that it will have an effect on all aspects of her life.

However, she reassured that the production is accustomed to having many babies, moms, and dads on set. The environment is very welcoming and supportive of children, so Moss does not anticipate any major challenges adjusting to the new circumstances.

Elisabeth Moss announced that she will be filming the sixth and final season of The Handmaid’s Tale inspired by Margaret Atwood’s novel this summer. The series, which premiered in 2017, is set in a dystopian world where women are assigned to men for childbirth due to low fertility rates.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in January, Moss confirmed her pregnancy. Host Jimmy Kimmel jokingly asked if she was pregnant or just a dedicated method actor, to which Moss playfully responded, “A little bit of both.”

When Kimmel asked Moss, 56, how she was feeling, she simply said, "Not bad." She mentioned that she has been feeling very fortunate during her pregnancy. Moss added, "It's been going really well."

After ending her relationship with Fred Armisen in 2010, Moss has kept quiet about her romantic life. Moss and Armisen, 57, got married in October 2009 but split in June 2010. Their divorce was finalized in May 2011.

Moss has been vocal about her wish to start a family. She expressed her desire to become a mother in an interview with Marie Claire UK in May 2018, mentioning that she values the idea of passing down what her own mother taught her.

Although Moss acknowledged that parenthood may not be suitable for everyone, she admitted that she has been leaning towards the idea lately. She confessed, "I have no concrete plans yet on how or when I want to make it happen."

Moss confessed that her busy schedule left her with little time for dating. She mentioned that her work demands all her attention, making it challenging to prioritize a relationship.

Looking ahead, Moss expressed her desire to have children in the future. She shared that her own mother, Linda Moss, served as a great inspiration to her in terms of motherhood. In a light-hearted tone, Moss joked during an interview with You magazine in April 2022 that when the time comes, she might just hand over the parenting duties to her mom, confident that she would excel at it.
