Recap of Jujutsu Kaisen episode 40
In the anime, we witnessed the reanimated Toji in Jujutsu Kaisen episode 40 titled "Thunderclap" engaging in a battle against Megumi Fushiguro. Megumi quickly realized that Toji possessed an overwhelming strength that he couldn't match, leading him to choose the path of escape. Despite this, Toji skillfully tracked down Megumi and pursued him. Ultimately, Toji recollected that Megumi was his own son. Consequently, upon discovering that his son had adopted the Fushiguro name rather than the Zenin name, he tragically sacrificed himself with a newfound sense of contentment.
Elsewhere, while Kusakabe and Panda were monitoring the city, they encountered several individuals affiliated with the Hasaba twins. In the midst of this encounter, Sukuna engaged in a fierce battle with Jogo, resulting in significant destruction throughout the city. Eventually, Sukuna emerged victorious over Jogo and commended his formidable strength. Shortly thereafter, Uraume approached Sukuna to offer greetings.
What to expect from Jujutsu Kaisen episode 41?
In the anime (Image via MAPPA), Haruta Shigemo is expected to engage in a battle against Mahoraga in Jujutsu Kaisen episode 41, titled Thunderclap, Part 2. Throughout the series, Megumi has made several attempts to summon Mahoraga, but his chants have always been disrupted before completion. However, in the Shibuya Incident Arc, a glimpse of a shikigami's feet can be seen approaching Haruta Shigemo, indicating that Megumi's summoning may finally come to fruition.
The shikigami's overwhelming strength puts the Curse user at a disadvantage, making it likely that the shikigami would emerge victorious in the battle. Alternatively, there is a possibility that someone else close by could come to Haruta's rescue.
Editor's P/S
As an enthusiastic fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I am eagerly anticipating the release of episode 17. The previous episode left us with a major cliffhanger, as Ryomen Sukuna, the formidable King of Curses, emerged victorious from his battle with Jogo. Now, we are left wondering what Sukuna has planned next and how the other characters will respond to his newfound power.
I am particularly excited to see how the relationship between Sukuna and Megumi Fushiguro develops. In the previous episode, we saw that Sukuna was impressed by Megumi's strength and potential. However, it is clear that Sukuna is also a dangerous and unpredictable ally. I am eager to see how Megumi will navigate this complex relationship and whether he will be able to use it to his advantage.
Overall, I am confident that episode 17 of Jujutsu Kaisen will be a thrilling and action-packed episode that will leave fans wanting more. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this exciting series!
