Director Brad Bird acknowledged that due to his busy schedule while making The Incredibles, he accidentally overlooked the inclusion of the Pizza Planet truck. However, in The Incredibles 2, the Pizza Planet truck does briefly appear, thus confirming its presence within the film's universe.

Pixar movies are well-known for including hidden references to their own films. Keen-eyed viewers will notice familiar characters such as The Incredibles appearing on a comic book cover in Finding Nemo, Nemo himself being introduced as a toy in Monsters Inc., and a postcard from Up's Paradise Falls hanging on Andy's wall in Toy Story 3. These are just a few examples of the numerous Easter Eggs that can be found throughout Pixar's extensive collection of films. Additionally, some movies even pay homage to Pixar itself by featuring the company's recognizable logo-hopping Lamp and its starred Luxo Ball in the background. However, the most notable Easter Egg can be traced back to Pixar's very first feature film and has been included in every movie, with the exception of one.
