According to the spoilers, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 244 is titled “Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown, Part 16.”

Chapter 244 of Jujutsu Kaisen opens with a shift in perspective from Yuta's confrontation with Kenjaku to Yuji's battle against Sukuna. Although today's spoilers were revealed in a disorganized manner, this article aims to piece them together coherently. A flashback unveils Kusakabe's strategic planning for their assault. After deciding that Yuta and Takaba would face off against Kenjaku, Kusakabe also strategized the next steps following Gojo and Kashimo's defeat against Sukuna. Additionally, it is disclosed that Miwa made a personal vow in Shibuya to never use a katana again after her encounter with Kenjaku, rendering her involvement in the battle pointless.

Noritoshi Kamo backed out of the operation, claiming that his power couldn’t even help and that he’d like to take his family and flee overseas. Yuji thanked him for his notes on Blood Manipulation since Choso was terrible at teaching. Kusakabe commented that even if the merger did happen, Sorcerers would likely be alright, so anyone who was not willing to die or did not have Reversed Cursed Technique could back out.

Higuruma then stated that he could use Judgeman to give Sukuna a death penalty, thereby seizing his Cursed technique and using the Executioner’s Sword to battle him. Kusakabe disagreed, pointing out that Higuruma cannot determine which crime Judgeman would try Sukuna for, making the circumstances uncertain.

Higuruma listed Sukuna's crimes from the three times he switched with Yuji as follows:

Harming Yuji by taking over his body

Attempted murder of Satoru Gojo

Killing Yuji Itadori (though this might be null and void given that Yuji is alive)

Attempted murder of Megumi Fushiguro

Killing two young sorcerers

Attempted murder of countless civilians

Killing Haruta Shigemo

Destroying a lot of building

Assuming control of Megumi's body.

Nevertheless, prosecuting Sukuna for a crime technically carried out by Sukuna's finger would be challenging. Under the law, causing the death of one person leads to a 10-15 year prison sentence, causing the death of two results in life imprisonment, and causing the death of three mostly results in the death penalty.

As per the Nagayama criteria, Sukuna could potentially face the death penalty for all of his crimes if tried together, but Judgeman would only select one crime at a time for trial. Nevertheless, being a modern Cursed technique, Judgeman has the capability to prosecute Sukuna for crimes committed during the Heian era.

In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 244, the focus returns to the battle as Sukuna wipes out Mei Mei's crows. Higuruma disrupts Sukuna's stance and immobilizes his weapon, Kamutoke. Yuji hurls debris at Sukuna, delivering a powerful blow that leaves the Curse reeling.

Higuruma unleashes his deadly Domain, Deadly Sentencing, against Sukuna. Judgeman resumes his trial against Yuji, but Higuruma comes to his defense, stating that Sukuna is the true perpetrator of the crime.

The Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 244 spoilers reveal that there will be a break next week, but chapter 245 is scheduled to be released as planned in Weekly Shonen Jump issue 3. Readers can refer to the official release date and time here.
