Scott Weinger, known for his role in Fuller House, lent his voice to the character of Aladdin in the animated version of the film released in 1992. The legendary Robin Williams, on the other hand, showcased his vocal talents as the lovable Genie, Aladdin's blue sidekick. In 1988's Oliver & Company, a young Joey Lawrence brought the character of Oliver Twist to life through his voice, while Christian Bale made a cameo appearance as Thomas alongside Mel Gibson's portrayal of John Smith in the 1995 film Pocahontas.

And who could forget David Spade's hilarious portrayal of Kuzco in The Emperor's New Groove? Similarly, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson flawlessly brought the charismatic and lovable character Maui to life in the movie Moana.
Pixar unveiled the initial trailer for the Lightyear movie in October 2021, showcasing the origin tale of Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story and featuring Chris Evans as the interstellar protagonist.

"During my childhood, animated movies held a significant place in my heart. They were not just a means of escape, but also a source of adventure and inspiration," expressed the actor of Captain America: The Winter Soldier in a tweet. "These films were my initial introduction to the enchantment of storytelling and performing. To @pixar and @AngusMacLane: a simple 'thank you' does not suffice."
In addition, Evans posted a screenshot of a heartfelt statement he penned about his casting, stating, "The phrase 'a dream come true' is often used, but I have never felt it more deeply. Those who are familiar with me understand my profound love for animated films. It is truly unbelievable that I now have the privilege to be a part of the Pixar family and collaborate with these exceptionally talented artists who narrate stories like no one else. Witnessing their craftsmanship is nothing short of magical. I have to remind myself every day that this is real."
