Kristen Doute's relationship with Luke Broderick began as a casual summer fling, but soon evolved into something deeper. The former Vanderpump Rules star wasn't actively seeking love when she crossed paths with Broderick in June 2022. However, their connection blossomed while standing alongside each other as bridesmaid and groomsman at a friend's wedding.
"We had sex right after we met or, you know, spent time together at the wedding," Doute shared on an episode of the couple's podcast "Love, Sex and What Else Matters" in December 2022.
Despite their quick hookup, the ex-reality star was cautious about getting into a relationship with the person from Indiana. (Doute confirmed in June 2022 that she had ended her two-year relationship with Alex Menache.)
"I struggled with the idea of being someone's significant other. Although I love you deeply, the thought of being a girlfriend again was overwhelming because what I really desire is to become a wife and a mother," expressed the individual from Michigan during the podcast. "Above all, my greatest aspiration is to be a mother and a committed partner. I had become weary of constantly being in short-lived relationships after being a girlfriend for several years and then experiencing everything fall apart."
Eventually, they both overcame their doubts and grew closer over the summer months. However, it wasn't until December 2022 that Doute confirmed her relationship with Broderick.
Doute previously dated Tom Sandoval from 2007 to 2013 and Brian Carter for several years before their 2019 split.

"Shortly after meeting at the wedding, or rather, spending time together at the wedding, we became intimate," Doute shared on a December 2022 episode of their podcast, "Love, Sex and What Else Matters."
Despite their quick connection, the former reality star hesitated to enter a relationship with the individual from Indiana. Doute confirmed in June 2022 that she had ended her two-year relationship with Alex Menache.

It wasn't until December 2022 that Doute publicly acknowledged her relationship with Broderick. Prior to that, Doute had been in a relationship with Tom Sandoval from 2007 to 2013 and Brian Carter for several years before their split in 2019.

June 2022
James Mae CEO and Menache decided to end their relationship after being together for two years. Doute made the breakup public through her Instagram Story, where she posted pictures of herself moving out of their shared residence. In that very month, she was introduced to Broderick at Rachael O'Brien's wedding to Greg Hunter, both of whom are former cast members of Bravo's Pump Rules.

Broderick was Doute’s plus one at Scheana Shay’s Mexico nuptials. That summer, he also joined his partner at birthday bashes for Jax Taylor and Sandoval.
