The Impact of the Shibuya Incident Arc
As the series' most violent and bloody arc, Jujutsu Kaisen's Shibuya Incident Arc is filled with the death of many characters: heroes to villains, main characters to side characters, humans and curses, and many more. Although heartbreaking, there is the opportunity to introduce a new amazing cast in light of the death of the old ones.
JJKs the Prison Realm closes in on Gojo
There were non-stop death battles happening simultaneously. In order to seal away Gojo Satoru, thousands had to die, and there was chaos everywhere. In such a destructive disaster, fans wonder who was strong enough to survive and who forfeited their lives.

The Fate of Key Characters
The whole plot of the Shibuya Incident was to seal away the most powerful sorcerer alive, Gojo Satoru. Due to a brilliant plan by Kenjaku, Gojo was sealed in the Prison Realm. Although he is now completely out of the picture, he is still alive in the Prison Realm and might return to the series if he is rescued by his students and comrades. Fans should assume that Gojo Satoru will not return anytime soon and that the sorcerers will fight the impending threat of the curses by themselves.

Probably the most unexpected death, Kugisaki Nobara ended up being killed by Mahito. Her death shattered Itadori's mind, who gave up on fighting but was luckily saved by Todo Aoi.

Fans had grown to love the quiet first-grade sorcerer, Kento Nanami. The Shibuya Incident arc brought about a new side of Nanami never seen before, with intense fury after seeing many of his comrades killed. His emotional death was truly the most painful so far, given how much he had suffered since he was a teenager.

The Downfall of the Disaster Curses
The Disaster Curses are the most powerful curses besides Sukuna and constitute the main fighting force against the sorcerers in the Shibuya Incident. In the fight between Jogo, Hanami, and Choso vs Gojo, Hanami was the first to be killed after making a blunder by going on the offensive instead of defending against Gojo's mighty power.

Dagon was the next to be killed. After awakening and trapping Nanami, Naobito, and Maki in his Domain Expansion, Toji Fushiguro entered the Domain and made quick work of him, bashing the curse's head multiple times until he exorcised it.

Jogo, the most hateful and violent Disaster Curse, was taken down by the King Of Curses, Sukuna. Sukuna was absolutely overwhelming Jogo, and after a destructive fight, Jogo was burned to a crisp by Sukuna's flame arrow.

The sadistic Mahito was the most heinous villain in the incident, killing thousands of humans and taking down important characters. It took the combined efforts of Itadori and Todo to take him down. Unfortunately, the one to kill Mahito was Geto, who stole his ability and subjugated him with his ability.

The Future of Jujutsu Kaisen
The finale of Jujutsu Kaisen's second season set up the plot of the exciting Culling Games arc, but it did not confirm the fate of other characters, most notably Naobito Zenin and Maki Zenin, both who were burned by Jogo following their battle with Dagon. Megumi also contributed a lot to the Shibuya Incident arc, sustaining many injuries. The arc was bloody, to say the least, mercilessly killing off allies and foes alike. The Shibuya Incident arc has been wildly considered Jujutsu Kaisen's best arc, and now that the series has fully adapted it, it is going to be hard for the anime to reach such a peak again.
