Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham is enthusiastic about the idea of a spinoff centered around a Richmond women's team, as suggested by her character Rebecca in the season 3 ending.
Upon discovering this, Juno Temple and I were unsure about how to express our excitement regarding its potential. In the script, my character was only supposed to react with a simple "Oh, it's on," after glancing up from a folder. However, our excitement was too overwhelming to contain. Thus, if you observe closely, there is a brief moment of exhilaration portrayed by us. The difficult part is the realization that unless I assume the role, Rebecca no longer exists. Yet, I am determined to see her journey to its completion. When you are left with a character at a certain point, it becomes essential to witness their progression. Will it work out for her and the Dutchman? Does she have a female counterpart? I certainly hope so! It feels like there is a sense of conclusion, yet it remains incomplete, just like all of our lives. Stay tuned for more...
