In a heartwarming Instagram post on January 11, the couple behind Dancing With the Stars, Val Chmerkovskiy and his pro dancer wife, shared a touching moment holding their newborn son's tiny hand. Their journey to parenthood was a difficult one, having struggled with fertility issues for years before finally announcing the joyous news in July 2022. As they navigate this new chapter in their lives, the couple acknowledges that their world will never be the same.

During a private concert that evening, captured on social media footage, the "All of Me" singer exclaimed, "What a wonderful day!" Despite a lack of sleep, Legend shared that he feels invigorated now that their new addition has arrived. The couple, who are also parents to Luna and Miles, had announced their pregnancy in August 2022.

During an appearance on BBC Radio 4's "Desert Island Discs" program in August 2022, the EGOT winner admitted that sharing their difficult experience was a challenge, but Chrissy's encouragement to do so was ultimately powerful for many people. They emphasized that more people than we realize go through similar challenges. Meanwhile, Johnson had just given birth to her first child three days prior.

"I am excited for the challenges that come with childbirth, including the gore and scariness. I am ready to face it all," said the former So You Think You Can Dance contestant in an exclusive interview with We in September, discussing the changes to her body. "My body is going through a lot of strange and unusual things, but Val makes me feel like a true beauty queen."

She went on to say, "As my body grows and changes, Val loves me even more. And it's not just about the physical aspect, but the fact that we are bringing a little human into the world together is truly beautiful."
