Surprise! Meghan Trainor's Second Baby Arrives, Paving the Way to Happy Parenthood with Daryl Sabara

Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara celebrated a double blessing as they welcomed their second child on July 1st. Trainor, 29, shared the exciting news on July 4th, alongside photos from the hospital. Their newborn son, Barry Bruce Trainor, arrived weighing 8lbs 7oz. Despite being in a transverse position, Trainor expressed gratitude for a successful c-section and cherished the opportunity for skin-to-skin bonding time. The couple expressed their appreciation to the dedicated doctors and nurses who provided exceptional care.

Trainor announced on Instagram in January that she is expecting her second child with Daryl Sabara.

The couple revealed the gender of their second child on The Kelly Clarkson Show in April. Instead of making the announcement themselves, Clarkson, who is 41 years old, played a video clip of their 2-year-old son, Riley, saying, "It's a boy!"

The artist behind "All About That Bass" and the actor known for his role in Spy Kids started dating in 2016. Sabara proposed in December of the following year.

"I happily accepted!! On my 24th birthday, my amazing partner @darylsabara made all of my dreams come true. He proposed to me in a mesmerizing tunnel of Christmas lights and surprised me with the presence of my beloved family and friends," the performer excitedly shared on Instagram. "I'm still in awe. I've never experienced such immense happiness! Daryl, along with my family and friends, truly made me feel like a princess."

The couple celebrated their marriage in an intimate backyard ceremony in December 2018. Just under two months after their wedding, Trainor openly expressed her longing to become a mother in an exclusive interview with We.

"I've harbored a desire to become a mother for a long time, even before I met Daryl," the singer of "Dear Future Husband" told Us in February 2019. "But it magnified when I found my ultimate soulmate. I think to myself, 'I want to extend our existence.' So I constantly fluctuate between the thought of 'Let's do it now.'"

Trainor revealed on the Today show in October 2020 that she and Sabara were anticipating their first child. The Grammy Award winner subsequently used Instagram to share the thrilling update.

"Everyone is aware of how much I've desired this for a long time! @darylsabara and I are thrilled and overwhelmed with joy to welcome this adorable little one into our lives in the early part of next year! WE'RE EXPECTING!!" Trainor wrote in the caption alongside an ultrasound photo.

Meanwhile, the actor from Halloween shared his own photo and expressed, "You mean the world to me @meghantrainor and I'm eagerly looking forward to beginning a family with you."

The arrival of their baby boy was announced by the pop star in February 2021. "Today, on Valentine's Day, was the due date for this adorable baby boy," Trainor captioned a collection of Instagram photos featuring the baby. "We had the chance to meet him on Monday, February 8th! We are absolutely smitten. Thank you, @darylsabara, for the most incredible Valentine's gift! Welcome to the world, Riley!"

More than a year after Riley was born, Trainor confided to Us in August 2022 her eagerness to become pregnant again.

"If it were possible, I would have already gotten pregnant several months ago," the Massachusetts native stated. "However, we're preoccupied at the moment, and I don't want to feel queasy while engaging in enjoyable activities. Nevertheless, come November or December, I will actively be trying to conceive."
