Bandai Namco's recent hit, Tales of Arise, released in September 2021. Now, two years later, fans of this action-RPG can look forward to new story DLC titled Beyond the Dawn. The reveal trailer premiered on Sony's State of Play livestream, shedding light on what to expect. Mark your calendars, as Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn is set to launch on November 9, 2023.
Taking place one year after the war between Dahna and Rena, the realms featured in the original Tales of Arise, Beyond the Dawn continues the journey of our beloved party members while introducing a new character named Nazamil. As the daughter of a lord, she finds herself pursued by Dahnans, revealing an intriguing backstory waiting to be discovered.
The trailer showcased a significant amount of gameplay, highlighting the enhanced combat abilities of each party member. Towards the end, a glimpse into Nazamil's past was offered, with the character holding a fragment of the mask that Alphen once wore in the original game. Uttering the words, "Once there are no differences, there will be..." hints at the possibility of "peace."
To confirm these speculations, the DLC will be released on November 9 this year, and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For more information on Sony's State of Play, don't miss our coverage of the compelling new Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth trailer.
