James Gunn, boss of DC Studios, has verified that a trailer for Superman Legacy will not be released any time soon due to the fact that filming won't commence until March. Gunn took to social media to confirm that the trailer for the superhero movie won't be seen until 2025. Responding to a fan's query about when a trailer might be released, Gunn, who is also the writer and director of the movie, stated, "No," when asked if there would be a trailer in 2024.
"We won't start filming until March," Gunn explained. "The writing is pretty much finished, just a few minor tweaks here and there."
In Superman Legacy, David Corenswet takes on the role of Superman, while Rachel Brosnahan plays Lois Lane. Nicholas Hoult, who originally auditioned for the role of Superman, will instead be portraying Lex Luthor in the film.
The film is scheduled to be released in Summer 2025. Corenswet has been noticeably dedicated to physical training for the role, leading to him being dubbed David Corenswole by fans due to his impressive muscular development.
