After Sukuna faced off with Hajime Kashimo, the clash between Sukuna, Yuji Itadori, and Hiromi Higuruma begins. In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 244, flashback scenes unveil the schemes concocted by Yuji, Higuruma, and their companions to overcome this formidable enemy.
Despite possessing Higuruma’s formidable Domain Expansion, Deadly Sentencing, they struggle to devise a solid plan. The main worry is that even the combined strength of Yuji and Higuruma might not be enough.

There are other theories circulating in the fandom that suggest a different outcome. One theory suggests that the court may place blame on Megumi, similar to what happened with Yuji before. There are several reasons supporting this speculation.
One reason is that Sukuna currently resides within Megumi’s body, making it plausible for Megumi to be seen as a co-defendant. Even if Sukuna is held responsible for the crime, there is a possibility that he could argue that the act was committed in the process of subduing Mahoraga, whom Megumi had originally unleashed.
Nevertheless, these theories are not without their flaws. Even if the responsibility were to shift to Megumi, Sukuna would still suffer the consequences as he is currently inhabiting Megumi Fushiguro's body. Additionally, Sukuna would likely want to maintain possession of the powerful Ten Shadows Cursed Technique. Therefore, the notion of him placing the blame on Megumi appears unlikely.
