Referred to as a natural calamity, Ryomen Sukuna displays a complete disregard for anything in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He lives by his own morals and ideologies, and he eliminates anyone or anything that stands in his way without a hint of remorse.

Sukuna existed around 1000 years ago during the brutal Heian Era. He dominated the era, surpassing all those who opposed him and earning the worship and prayers of the people due to his unmatched strength.

During his time in the Heian Era, Sukuna encountered numerous formidable foes. The Elite Fujiwara Clan Subjugation Units of that Era were made up of sorcerers known for their extraordinary power. Despite their reputation, they were unable to halt Sukuna's destructive path and were ultimately defeated by the King of Curses.

Sukuna's enemies joined forces to stop his reign of terror, prompting him to split his powers into his twenty fingers and scatter them, enabling him to become a Cursed Object and go dormant. This allowed him to cheat death and be reincarnated in the modern era when Yuji Itadori consumed one of his fingers. It seems that Sukuna is the only sorcerer with the ability to transform into a Cursed Object, possibly learned with help from Kenjaku.

Sukuna possesses a vast reservoir of Cursed Energy, which he efficiently utilizes. He has been shown to be one of the fastest sorcerers, swiftly taking out his opponents without them even realizing it. Additionally, he is able to regenerate and recover from fatal injuries using the Reversed Cursed Technique, making him nearly impossible to kill.

He possesses an exceptional level of strength and is highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, as demonstrated in his fight against Satoru Gojo. His extensive experience facing numerous opponents has honed his ability to think quickly and adapt to any situation. Additionally, he has exhibited exceptional knowledge and intelligence as a sorcerer.

Sukuna's primary attack, Dismantle, is a powerful ranged slashing technique that he recently improved after observing Mahoraga adapt to Gojo's Infinity. He also utilizes another slashing attack called Cleave, capable of defeating any opponent based on their individual Cursed Energy output and inherent toughness. Sukuna in his Heian Era manifestation had two mouths, four eyes, and four arms, which is considered to be the ultimate advantage for a sorcerer. He is currently facing off against the remaining sorcerers in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga and has been effortlessly defeating them in the recent chapters.

Final thoughts

It's unimaginable for anyone to defeat Sukuna at this stage, especially after he was able to incapacitate Gojo with just one attack despite his own severe injuries. It's evident that there is currently no sorcerer in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga who poses a threat to the King of Curses.

Following the disappearance of Satoru Gojo and the remaining sorcerers in a dire state after their battle with Sukuna, the outlook for the world of Jujutsu Kaisen appears grim.
