Suits will be airing on MyNetwork TV this fall after breaking streaming records. The show, previously on USA Network, will now premiere on the Fox-owned service. All nine seasons, totaling 134 episodes, will be available on MyNetwork TV, which is available in approximately 97 percent of US TV households, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Launching obscure products on broadcast TV has become increasingly difficult, if not impossible, according to Frank Cicha, executive VP of programming for Fox Television Stations. He mentioned that "Suits" is one of the most buzzworthy scripted series in recent years, and MyNet is excited to bring it to the broadcast television audience. They are currently exploring creative ways to make this happen.
Another example of a show achieving massive success through alternative platforms is "Friends," which originally premiered on NBC in 1994. After its syndication run, the series finale in 2004 garnered a remarkable 52.5 million American viewers.

Suits became a hit in June 2023 when it gained a large audience on Netflix, breaking records for weekly viewing time of a series, according to Nielsen's streaming ratings. It also made history by staying at the top of the Nielsen rankings for several weeks in a row. You can also watch Suits on Peacock.
Meghan Markle, known for her role as paralegal Rachel Zane on the show from 2011 to 2018, expressed her surprise in November 2023 about the renewed interest in Suits from fans.
"It's tough to come across a show these days that you can binge-watch for many episodes, which might explain its popularity. However, great shows have a lasting impact," she mentioned. "Working on it was a fantastic experience with such an amazing cast and crew. We had a blast."
Apart from being aired in syndication, the series is expanding in a new direction. NBC is in the process of creating a spinoff called Suits: LA, developed by Aaron Korsh, the mastermind behind the original show.
Stephen Amell, Bryan Greenberg, Josh McDermitt, and Lex Scott Davis will be starring in the upcoming series, Suits: LA. The show will take place in a new location but will still be connected to the original series.
In Suits: LA, the main character, Ted Black (played by Amell, who is 43 years old), is a former federal prosecutor from New York who has transformed himself into a lawyer representing the most influential clients in Los Angeles.
"According to Variety, his company is facing a crisis and he must take on a role he always looked down upon. Ted is supported by a great group of people who are torn between their loyalty to him and their own interests, blurring the lines between personal and professional relationships. Meanwhile, secrets from the past resurface, forcing Ted to confront the decisions that led him to leave everything and everyone he cared about."
