The Billboard Music Awards, which took place last night across various live venues in California, didn't see an overwhelming presence of stars. The event had a distinctive atmosphere as stars made remote appearances from "global locations, amidst their sold-out tours, and in custom venues," according to organizers.
Although fans on social media expressed their dissatisfaction with the new format, singers Mariah Carey, Karol G, and Bebe Rexha confidently showcased their talents on the different black carpets.
Carey was prepared to portray her iconic "Queen of Christmas" character, donning a stunning white pleated minidress adorned with crystal embellishments and faux fur-lined sleeves. This ensemble paid homage to her memorable outfit from her beloved 1994 holiday anthem, "All I Want for Christmas Is You," while simultaneously incorporating a touch of 1960s glamour with oversized oval sunglasses and thigh-high boots.
