As the grand finale approaches, we've made our predictions on the potential winner of Squid Game: The Challenge. The popular games from Netflix's hit show Squid Game are recreated in The Challenge, including Red Light, Green Light and Glass Bridge, with additional tests and challenges thrown into the mix by the producers.
Sometimes, eliminations have been based on popularity or simply luck. It's been difficult to support a contestant when fan favorites are being eliminated so quickly. However, we can make some predictions about who might win the $4.56 million cash prize by looking at the potential winners of Squid Game: The Challenge. Warning: Spoilers ahead!
Squid Game predictions: Who will win The Challenge?
Our bets are on Player 287 (Mai) winning Squid Game: The Challenge.
Following the events of Episode 9, ‘Circle of Trust’, the three finalists are as follows:
Player 016, Sam
Player 287, Mai
Player 451, Phill
Each player has their own unique strengths, and for many, Mai appears to be a top contender to win because of her adeptness at forming alliances with her peers and her ruthless approach to the game.

In the show 'Circle of Trust', she coldly selects her "dear friend Roland," Player 418, as "people will think that it wouldn’t possibly be me." She also confesses, "I love the guy, but also I have to save myself first." However, when the three finalists return to their dorm, she deceives Sam and Phill by denying her involvement so that they don't see her as a back-stabber.
In Episode 6, Mai was seen speaking ill of TJ, Player 182, as she didn't have faith in him. Nevertheless, during the allegiance test, TJ decided to rescue Mai and even offered her the final (and therefore most advantageous) spot for the Glass Bridge game. Prior to this, Mai had divulged her background as a survivor who grew up in Vietnam during the war. She recounted the terrifying moment she was almost shot by a soldier as a young child in a killing field.
Furthermore, Mai has emerged as a standout competitor and has been prominently showcased in the last few episodes, leading viewers to believe that she will emerge victorious in the game.
One viewer expressed on X/Twitter, "I will be genuinely shocked if 287 doesn't win, as she is the only finalist who appears to have a winning narrative." Another viewer commented, "Is 287 the likely winner? She seems to be the focal point of the show right now. And the guy with the beard isn't winning, right? He has barely been featured."
"Player 287 winning wouldn't shock me," commented one person, and another added, "Player 287 (Mai) has been playing an impressive game. She might not be trustworthy, but she's incredibly smart. She's managed to build loyalty without giving any in return. She's good at reading people. I'm betting on her to win it all."
Since it's just speculation at this point, we'll have to wait and see if these predictions pan out when the finale airs next week.

As a Gen Z netizen, I have mixed feelings about the article "Squid Game Forecast: Who Emerges Victorious?". On the one hand, I am excited to see who will win the $4.56 million cash prize. On the other hand, I am concerned about the show's portrayal of violence and its potential impact on viewers.
I think it is important to remember that Squid Game is a work of fiction and that the violence depicted in the show is not real. However, I also think it is important to be aware of the potential effects that the show's violence could have on viewers, especially young people.
Overall, I think Squid Game is a well-made and entertaining show. However, I would caution viewers to be aware of the show's potential negative effects before watching it.
