Across the Spider-Verse arrives five years following the groundbreaking success of Into the Spider-Verse, Sony's visually stunning animated multiverse that introduced us to the phenomenal character of Miles Morales. In this new installment, Miles will venture even further into other dimensions and confront not only countless other versions of Spider-People but also his formidable adversary, The Spot.

The synopsis states that Brooklyn's Spider-Man, after reuniting with Gwen Stacy, is transported to different dimensions where he encounters the Spider Society. This group of Spider-People is responsible for protecting the existence of the Multiverse. However, conflict arises among the heroes regarding how to deal with a new threat. Miles, the main character, finds himself at odds with the other Spiders and must embark on his own mission to save his loved ones. The message of the synopsis is that anyone can be a hero, but it is how they embrace that role that truly matters.

Now that the movie is no longer showing in theaters, some might be curious about the availability of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on streaming platforms. In this article, we will provide the latest information on when and where you can watch the movie from the comfort of your own home.

Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on streaming?

Unfortunately, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse cannot be streamed at the moment. However, it will be available for streaming sooner than expected. Originally, it was only released in cinemas on June 2, 2023, but it has since finished its theatrical run.

When will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse come to streaming?

Spider-Verse 2 is coming to Netflix on October 31, and it has also been released digitally for renting and buying.

Starting in 2022, Sony and Netflix have reached an agreement where all movies from different film banners will be available exclusively on Netflix after their theatrical and home entertainment releases, according to Variety. Typically, the pay 1 window starts about nine months after a film's theatrical release, but this timeframe may be accelerated for Netflix. Following their release on Netflix, the movies will remain on the platform for a period of 18 months before being made available on other platforms like Disney+.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 4K & Blu-ray pre-orders

As of August 8, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is now available to obtain digitally, per Amazon.
