Sophia Loren's Remarkable Recovery: From Fall to Surgery, Witness Her Inspiring Journey

Italian actress Sophia Loren, 89, who has won an Oscar, was hospitalized on Sunday in Geneva, Switzerland, following a fall at her residence. According to her agent Andrea Giusti, Loren sustained multiple fractures in her hip and thigh bone.

Giusti expressed that the surgery was a success and mentioned that they only need to wait. In a recent social media post, a restaurant chain named after her informed that Loren is currently recuperating from the operation.

"Luckily, everything went smoothly, and Sophia Loren Restaurant expressed their well wishes for her speedy recovery, assuring that she will be back with us very soon," stated a post on Instagram.

According to Italian public broadcaster RAI, Loren was scheduled to inaugurate the new Bari branch of the Sophie Loren restaurant chain on Tuesday. This new branch, the fourth in Italy, follows the successful openings in Milan, Florence, and Rome Fiumicino.
