Sony has officially rescheduled seven movie release dates due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Concerns about artificial intelligence taking over their jobs and streaming residuals were raised when the Writer's Guild of America went on strike in May. As summer comes to an end, Sony has announced a significant change in their release calendar. They are moving the release dates for films such as Gran Turismo, Madame Web, Ghostbusters: Afterlife 2, Kraven the Hunter, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, Karate Kid, and They Listen. Additionally, Sony has confirmed that Bad Boys 4 and Venom 3 will be released in 2024. Below is the updated release schedule from the studio.

Shifted Release Dates:
Gran Turismo, a film produced by Columbia Pictures, is set to be released on August 25, 2023, with special advance screenings across the country on the weekends of August 11 and August 18. While the stars of the movie are unable to actively promote it, the audience is encouraged to support and spread the word about the film.
Madame Web, another exciting project by Columbia Pictures, will hit theaters on February 14, 2024, coinciding with Valentine's Day. However, please note that the release date has been moved to February 16, 2024.
Untitled Ghostbusters Sequel (Columbia Pictures) - New release date: March 29, 2024, during Easter weekend (previously scheduled for December 20, 2023).
