In Snowbreak: Containment Zone, players engage in a typical gacha experience where the primary focus is on utilizing premium currency to obtain characters and their firearms. This currency can be acquired freely through daily and weekly activities, or alternatively purchased via microtransactions. By pulling characters and their weaponry, players gain the opportunity to assume their roles in captivating third-person shooter gameplay. With a captivating hero-based gunplay featuring a comprehensive weapon modding system, a visually striking character art style, and an intriguing storyline, Snowbreak: Containment Zone offers an immersive gaming experience.
Like many other gacha games, Snowbreak: Containment Zone features a character fragment/duplicate system. Obtaining duplicate characters in the game allows players to enhance their existing characters. The main way to obtain these character fragments, known as "extract" in Snowbreak, is by pulling duplicates from the gacha. This can be done by pulling 4* units which are guaranteed every 10-pull or intentionally pulling on limited rate-up banners to progress a character's manifestation. The manifestation system rewards duplicates with stat buffs and passives. Additionally, players have the option to purchase one extract per day for a random character from the in-game shop. This costs 20,000 SilverBucks, the in-game currency. However, due to the random nature and limited availability, this method does not reliably progress characters.
Fortunately, Snowbreak also provides a free daily farming system for character extracts. However, there is a limit on how often this can be done.
How to Farm Character Manifestation Extract For Free in Snowbreak: Containment Zone
Upon unlocking a new character in Snowbreak: Containment Zone, players will also gain access to the character's "personal file." This file serves as a repository of stages that not only provide players with background lore and information about the character, but also offer them the opportunity to experience a fully developed trial version of the character. Additionally, the personal file sheds light on the specific exosuit associated with the character, which may include multiple exosuits of varying rarity. For instance, the 4* Acacia - [Redacted] boasts multiple exosuits, while the game's first rate-up banner unveils the magnificent 5* Acacia - Kaguya.
In the majority of instances, content fragments consist of equal parts storytelling and combat. Upon completing each stage for the first time, players will receive a handful of character extracts as rewards. However, the final stage within a personal file holds the utmost significance as it contributes towards the daily limit and can be replayed for additional extracts.
Every day, players receive 12 memory chips to access the final stage of a character's personal file. It costs 2 memory chips to complete the personal file of a 4* unit and 3 memory chips for a 5* unit. Once completed, these stages can be auto-completed daily to obtain character extracts.
The limitations for grinding extracts depend on the type of unit. For 4* units, players are only limited by the 12 daily memory chips. However, for 5* units, players can only claim extracts twice per day per unit, regardless of how many memory chips they have. This means players can either claim extracts from a 4* unit six times, or extracts from a 5* unit twice along with extracts from a 4* unit three times. Another option is to claim extracts from two 5* units twice each. In any case, the total number of memory chips used per day will always be 12.
Completing the final stage of a personal file awards the player with one extract for that character, except for the first clear which grants an additional two extracts.
What Does Character Manifestation Do In Snowbreak: Containment Zone?
Players need to be mindful that the memory chips awarded on a daily basis cannot be accumulated. A maximum of 12 memory chips can be held at any given time, and if not utilized each day, players will not be able to amass additional ones.
Introducing Fritia - Hush, a powerful 5* unit with a Phase 1 Manifestation that is currently halfway completed.
Once players have grasped the mechanics of obtaining a character's manifestation extracts, it is essential to understand the multitude of advantages that come with this process.
Each character has five manifestation levels, known as phases, with nine steps to unlock within each phase. To unlock a step, the player must obtain the required number of character extracts specified by the game. Unlocking a step grants the character a slight increase in stats.
Upon completing all nine steps and unlocking a full manifestation phase, the character will gain a new passive ability. This system allows a max-manifestation character to acquire 40 incremental stat increases and five entirely new passive abilities. Thus, investing time in farming these manifestation phases is well worth it to ensure optimal performance for the player's character. While this endeavor may take time to yield significant results, it is a straightforward process, made easier by the ability to auto-clear stages, requiring minimal effort from the player.
Here are the statistics and abilities that accompany a Phase 1 Manifestation Fritia - Hush.
