Snooki Unleashes Epic ‘Poof’ Comeback at ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ Premiere: Prepare for Nostalgia Overload

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi took us on a trip down memory lane to 2009 at the premiere party for season 6 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Arriving at the red carpet event in New York City, Polizzi sported the iconic "poof" hairstyle - a teased bump above the forehead. Speaking exclusively to We at the event, Polizzi expressed her nostalgia, mentioning the return of Sammi Giancola and the presence of Ronnie Ortiz-Magro in the season. She said, "I thought, alright, Pauly still has his blowout, so I'm going to do the poof."

Polizzi shared that recreating the hairstyle was just as effortless as it was in the past. "I was able to style it in just two seconds." (Watch the video above to witness her transformation.)

To complement her impeccably groomed hair, Polizzi adorned herself with a daring hot pink top, a skirt with a pattern, and high platform heels, reminiscent of previous eras. She proudly expressed, "I had this outfit in my wardrobe. It's my go-to sexy ensemble."

Polizzi stated that she doesn't dress like this every day, clarifying that she and Jenni Farley prefer to be in comfortable sweats all day and enjoy embracing their casual appearance. Farley, also known as JWoww, chimed in and humorously mentioned that she resembles Adam Sandler from Monday to Friday.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is set to return to MTV on Thursday, August 3. 

Giancola’s return was teased earlier this year via a clip that showed her making an unexpected entrance. 

"Did you inform the girls about the direct message I sent you?" Giancola, aged 36, inquired Angelina Pivarnick in the sneak peek. Pivarnick, also aged 36, responded that she did not give their fellow Jersey Shore stars any prior notice about the unexpected arrival, and then the duo opened the door to their vacation rental. "Hey guys, my apologies for being late," Giancola informed the group.

The camera swiftly moved to capture the reactions of their co-stars Pauly, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Polizzi, and Farley. "What the hell?" Delvecchio, aged 42, exclaimed. "Is this for real? Are you a hologram? Is this artificial intelligence?"

At the age of 37, Ortiz-Magro was part of the cast of Family Vacation during its initial four seasons. However, due to his domestic violence arrest, he made the decision to leave the show in May 2021. A month before his departure, Ortiz-Magro was arrested following an alleged incident with a romantic partner and was later released on a $100,000 bond in April.

Vinny Guadagnino and Deena Nicole Cortese, along with other popular reality stars, rose to fame in the original series called Jersey Shore. The show aired from 2009 to 2012 and depicted their adventures and wild partying at a beach house on the Jersey Shore.
