Siesta Key’s Madisson Hausburg recently provided an update on her 3-month-old daughter, Sunday, who recently experienced a health scare.
Madisson, 30, shared via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, May 19, that Sunday has deep internal hemangiomas. Initially appearing under her chin and in her neck, Madisson mistook them for a baby double chin. However, she soon realized they were lumpy and firm, growing rapidly and taking on a purple and bruised appearance.
The reality star from MTV noticed lumps appearing on her cheeks and spreading down to her chest within just 12 days.
Infantile hemangioma, as described by Yale Medicine, is a noncancerous growth of extra blood vessels that develops on the skin in the first few weeks of life. Treatment typically involves the use of beta blockers and pulsed laser dye to eliminate the hemangiomas.
Once Madisson and her husband, Ish Soto, decided to take Sunday to the hospital, the couple received good news that their daughter is going to recover.

Infantile hemangiomas are relatively common, affecting approximately 10% of infants. While they can be alarming, most hemangiomas are benign and resolve on their own within a few years. Treatment options, such as beta blockers and laser therapy, are available to reduce the size and appearance of these growths. It is essential for parents to consult with medical professionals if they notice any unusual lumps or growths on their child's body to ensure appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
