Sia's Stunning Transformation: The Truth Behind Her Hidden Beauty

Sia candidly discussed her plastic surgery journey as she presented the Outstanding Achievement in Medicine award to Dr. Ben Talei at the 5th annual Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, October 1. In her speech, she expressed gratitude to him for the transformative facelift she received.

"I am a renowned pop star known for concealing my identity, and I pride myself on being honest," stated Sia, aged 47. Addressing the audience, she expressed her admiration for Dr. Talei, a remarkable individual who had provided her with an exceptional facelift. She also acknowledged his significant contributions, extending beyond the realm of pop stars. Sia mentioned how, just before her appearance, she had showcased her remarkable transformation to someone backstage. Their response to her improved appearance was met with enthusiasm as she attributed it to the skills of Dr. Ben Talei, emphasizing his ability to fulfill any aesthetic desire. Sia expressed her deep appreciation and praised him endlessly for his exceptional work.

After presenting the award, Sia passed the microphone to Talei, aged 41, who also had nothing but admiration for the musician. "You may not be aware of how truly incredible Sia is as a person," he expressed. "We share many mutual friends, and it continually amazes me how they all express their love and admiration for her. She is truly remarkable."

Talei continued, "And it's evident, as you can see, that she radiates positivity and joy. She went out of her way to bring immense happiness to my nieces and nephews. She graciously invited them to her home for a splendid party, and my entire family adores her. I am incredibly thankful."

After the ceremony, Talei shared an Instagram picture of them embracing on stage, accompanied by the caption: “@siamusic I'm extremely thankful to have received this honor and special moment from my incredibly wonderful friend Sia. While there were remarkable presenters, the entire audience went wild when Sia took the stage, igniting their excitement like a powerful force. Suddenly, she surprised the crowd with some absolutely amazing news!!!!!!! It is truly remarkable to have someone you hold dear and deeply admire go above and beyond for you. It instills a feeling of invincibility that goes beyond words….”

Throughout her career, Sia has become well-known for concealing her face behind a wig. Nonetheless, in recent times, she appears to have become more at ease with showing her face to the public. Notably, she decided not to wear her wig when presenting Talei with his award.

This is not the initial occasion when Sia has acknowledged undergoing cosmetic surgery. In a 2021 interview with physician and author Gabor Mate, Sia candidly shared about the challenges and insecurities she faced while working in the entertainment industry. In the course of the interview, she disclosed that she had opted for liposuction on her stomach, which unfortunately did not yield desired results. She described it as resembling "something threw a hammer into my guts."

Sia recently attended the 23rd Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards. During the interview, she disclosed that she had received botox injections in her face and expressed concerns about the authenticity of her smile. She admitted to feeling insecure and believed that being beautiful was a prerequisite for being a pop star.
