Nick went on to express his love for his brother and made a heartfelt plea for him to return home. Sergio, 35, had a successful career in football, starting off at Notre Dame and later playing for various teams in the NFL, including the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Buffalo Bills.

Mothers injuries related to an assault, coroner says
The police department discovered Myrtle Brown's body near a creek behind her residence on Saturday. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office conducted an analysis and concluded that her cause of death was due to assault injuries. Natalia Derevyanny, a spokesperson, stated that the manner of death was classified as a homicide.
The coroners office did not share details on the nature of the mothers injuries.

Both mother and son reported missing Saturday
Family members of Sergio Brown and his mother told police on Saturday they had been unable to find or contact either of them, according to Maywood police.
According to a news release by the police, Maywood Police Officers initiated a missing person report and started making efforts to locate both individuals. Neighbour Carlos Cortez informed WBBM that relatives were also searching for Myrtle.
Cortez said that the Browns' family came to his door looking for her as they had filed a police report due to her disappearance for 72 hours. He mentioned that they made efforts to assist them as much as they could. According to WBBM, Cortez provided the police with his Ring doorbell footage and stated that he had last seen the Browns on Thursday.
Family asks for help finding former NFL player
Sergio Browns brother on Sunday took to Instagram to ask for help in finding him as he thanked community members for the condolences.
"If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Sergio, please forward it to the Maywood Police Department," Nick Brown stated.
Nick Brown urged people to refrain from approaching the family's premises as the investigation is ongoing.
The Maywood residential street, located approximately 11 miles from downtown Chicago, was captured on video with police tape cordoning it off. In footage provided by CNN affiliate WBBM, officers can be seen responding to the incident.
In a message, he urged individuals to refrain from approaching the property, as the Maywood Police Department is currently conducting an ongoing investigation.
Who was Myrtle Brown?
Neighbors described Myrtle as a sharp dresser, outgoing person and someone who loved to go dancing.
Neighbor Kevin Grayer expressed his admiration for the woman, describing her as a delightful, eloquent, and sociable individual who was constantly active. Grayer emphasized her bright disposition and expressed his sorrow over her untimely demise, stating that her kind-heartedness made her passing even more tragic.
Her son, Nick Brown, found solace in his last exchange with his mother.
"It's a bittersweet yet optimistic moment, and together we will overcome. Mom always believed that difficult times are fleeting, and our final discussion on the transience of hardships serves as my guiding light," he shared.
"Mom, thank you for being strong, caring, diligent, fancy, funny, and for saving my art. I wont let you down."
