Kristen Doute's rewatch of Vanderpump Rules has uncovered intriguing behind-the-scenes information. One notable claim is that Lisa Vanderpump's daughter, Pandora Sabo, is pretending to have a British accent. Kristen, 40, expressed her feelings during a conversation with her boyfriend Luke Broderick on their podcast, "Sex, Love and What Else Matters." She mentioned that although she still has affection for Pandora, their relationship isn't as close as it once was due to Kristen's inability to tolerate the false accent.
Kristen informed Luke, who is 32 years old, that he had noticed the slip-up while watching the season 2 premiere. She added, "During the conversation with Pandora, you mentioned that you could hear her slipping in and out of the accent."
According to Kristen, Pandora's accent typically emerges when she is around her family. She speculated, "Perhaps it's a cultural tradition or a sign of respect that I am unaware of." Kristen further explained, "I simply want to point out that Pandora only uses the accent when she is on TV or in the presence of her parents."
Kristen initially joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules as an original member when the popular Bravo show premiered in 2013. The series gained popularity by showcasing the daily lives of employees working at Lisa's diverse establishments in Los Angeles. Alongside her role on the show, Kristen's children, Pandora and Max Todd, frequently made appearances.
However, in June 2020, Kristen garnered attention for all the wrong reasons. She, along with Stassi Schroeder, was terminated from the show due to their past racially insensitive actions towards former co-star Faith Stowers.
One month later, Kristen finally spoke out about her departure, acknowledging the valuable lessons she has learned. In an episode of the "Hollywood Raw" podcast, she admitted that she now understands the significance of continuous learning and reflects on her previous belief that she grasped the concept of racism fully. She explains that her awareness has expanded to uncovering unconscious bias and embracing antiracism. Furthermore, Kristen emphasizes the significance of taking action within local communities to instigate genuine change.
Kristen has recently made appearances on the season 10 finale of Vanderpump Rules as a show of support for Ariana Madix following the scandal involving Tom Sandoval's affair with Raquel Leviss. Additionally, she is excited to announce her return to Bravo in an upcoming eight-episode spinoff series alongside Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.
Earlier this year, Kristen commenced a rewatch of Vanderpump Rules on her podcast, where she often shares inside information. In a July episode, she divulged that the cast didn't earn much money in the initial years of the show.
According to her, "Our bank accounts were meager. We had a mere $5,000, and if we became a main character, we would receive an extra $5,000."
