Setting the record straight: Martha Stewart denies giving up Thanksgiving!

Martha Stewart sets the record straight: Contrary to rumors, she hasn't abandoned Thanksgiving! The renowned hostess assures that she will be fully immersed in the festivities, showcasing her unparalleled culinary skills and knack for entertaining

Do not fret, as Martha Stewart, the exceptional hostess, is still taking part in the holiday known for food and entertainment this year. She took to social media on Tuesday to address rumors about canceling Thanksgiving after mentioning feeling "turkeyed out" on Kelly Clarkson's talk show.

"I didn't give up on Thanksgiving! What I actually cancelled was the planned gathering at my house because some guests couldn't make it and had travel plans!" - Stewart clarified in a multi-part Instagram post.

Instead of taking a break, Stewart reported that she was in the process of preparing thirty pies to bake and was also getting ready to cook a 20-pound organic, heritage bird that was stuffed and roasted. This was all in an effort to supplement her friend Stephen Sills' buffet. But that's not the end of it.

The lifestyle and food expert also shared that she was "baking lemon tarts, cranberry tarts, chocolate pecan pies, pecan pies and pumpkin pies."

Stewart is keeping busy with more than just cooking. She mentioned that she and her team are staying home for two days to plant 75 new peonies, relocate hundreds of other peonies, move dozens of hostas, and finish planting the Spring flowering bulbs. In addition to this, they are also blowing and composting leaves, spreading compost on all the flower beds, and making burlap coats to cover the hundreds of boxwood shrubs for the upcoming cold winter.

One thing that will not be part of her holiday this year, however, is her colossal chocolate turkey. Crafted using her giant antique turkey mold, it did not survive storage since October, crumbling into itself," she wrote. "I am melting the chocolate and using it for the chocolate pecan pies."

Stewart ended her message asking followers to share photos of their Thanksgiving meals or table settings. She also shared her hopes for more peace in the world.
