Secret Romance Revealed: Jordan Rodgers' Surprising Gesture for Taylor Swift at Vanderbilt Football Games

Before finding love with JoJo Fletcher, Jordan Rodgers was a hopeful football player who was interested in getting a chance with Taylor Swift. In a recent interview with We, JoJo shared that Jordan is an even bigger fan of Swift than she is, shedding light on the topic of Swift's rumored relationship with Travis Kelce.

Rodgers, 35, emphatically confirmed, "Without a doubt, I was attending her concerts back in high school when she was performing for just 200 people in remote areas of Northern California. I even have a picture as evidence. I had the chance to meet her afterwards, she had crimped hair and it was during the time of her first album. That photo is a treasured memory for me. I proudly consider myself a devoted Taylor Swift fan."

Fletcher chimed in, revealing, "That particular photo is one that he always brings out on a gloomy day. It's the photo he captured with Taylor Swift around 2006."

Rodgers admitted to participating in the joke about Kelce's ability to raise Taylor's popularity and mentioned his past practice of leaving tickets to home games for Swift at Vanderbilt when he played as their quarterback. Despite Swift living just two blocks away from the stadium, she never attended the games, leading Rodgers to reflect on his unsuccessful attempt to catch her attention.

Fletcher chuckled and exclaimed "oh my gosh" upon hearing Rodgers' story, playfully suggesting that Swift may not have been interested in football players.

"I'm completely baffled now," she remarked with amusement. "I guess you just weren't her type, Jordan."

Rodgers acknowledged that he couldn't quite compare to Travis Kelce, the tight end, which he found reasonable. He also expressed his enthusiasm for the possibility of Swift and Kelce dating, stating that he genuinely loves the idea.

When Fletcher mentioned her skepticism and uncertainty about the relationship being genuine, Rodgers humorously admitted that he would also appreciate more proof. He jokingly suggested that a paparazzi capture them in a romantic moment, such as kissing or making out, to confirm their relationship.

While Swift, 33, and Kelce's next moves are anxiously awaited by fans after her attendance at two Kansas City Chiefs games this autumn, Bachelor Nation celebrated the union of Fletcher and Rodgers in May 2022, six years after their initial encounter on The Bachelorette. As the couple prepares to embark on starting a family, Fletcher disclosed to Us magazine, "We're currently at a phase where we eagerly anticipate having children whenever it happens." Rodgers, on the other hand, believes that their experience in raising their dogs has prepared them well.

“Jordan tried to make the joke earlier that he thinks that dogs might be easier — and I said, ‘Let’s just wait until we have a kid,'” she quipped.

Rodgers emphasized that he was referring to the early stages of infancy. "Both of them wake us up at night, but at least with a child, you can keep them in one place and they won't run away or destroy things," he explained. "I'm not saying it's easier in the long run, but there's a period of time where you know where your child will be when you put them down!"

Recognizing that she can't fathom the depth of love she'll have for their future children, given her immense love for their dogs, Fletcher and Rodgers have partnered with Purina to create an Everyday Adventure Guide that encourages dog owners to incorporate excitement and exploration into their pets' daily lives.

Even while working at Purina, I have realized how the small moments we spend with our dogs strengthen and nourish the bond we share," Fletcher shared with Us, emphasizing that Jackson and Jagger are the true "stars" of their family. "That's why we created this easy-to-follow guide, filled with simple and achievable everyday activities that you can enjoy with your dogs, along with how the Purina prime treats have become an integral part of our daily routine and why our dogs adore them. And our veterinarian, Dr. Ruth, has also contributed some valuable insights to this guide."

Rodgers pointed out that these tips are inspired by their dog Jackson's aging process. "What's great about these suggestions is that you don't need to plan extravagant adventures. Just taking a 10-minute walk can be the highlight of a dog's day and have long-lasting benefits in terms of keeping them mentally and physically stimulated, and ultimately, younger for a longer time," he explained.
