This weekend, Rangers will face St Mirren on We, adding to their already difficult period. Stephen Robinson's team, currently sitting in second place in the Scottish Premiership, are undefeated and hold a three-point advantage over the Ibrox side.

Steven Davis will once again assume the role as Rangers' interim manager as they persist in their quest to find a replacement for Michael Beale. Fans are eagerly anticipating a strong reaction from the team following their disappointing performance against Aris Limassol in the Europa League on Thursday evening. The recent loss to Aberdeen in the league spelled the end for Beale, and now the club is focused on rescuing their season.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers saw his side knocked out of League Cup at Kilmarnock

Celtic is making their way back to Scottish Premiership competition following yet another disappointing loss in the Champions League. On Wednesday, the Hoops witnessed Lazio secure a victory in the dying moments at Parkhead, with defender Cameron Carter-Vickers making a comeback from his injury.

Despite their unbeaten record in the league this season, Kilmarnock managed to put an end to their title defense in the Viaplay Cup. However, Derek McInnes' team is currently facing difficulties in maintaining a winning streak, as they have not secured a victory in the Scottish Premiership since their first match against Rangers.

Nick Montgomery is unbeaten as Hibs manager

Nick Montgomery remains undefeated since assuming control at Hibernian, and his most significant challenge awaits as he leads his team to face Hearts in the inaugural Edinburgh derby of the season.

Hibs' previous six managers have all emerged victorious in their debut league matches against their city rivals.

Hearts have regained some form in recent weeks and currently occupy fourth place, just ahead of Hibs. They have secured two victories in their last three matches.

The Jambos have managed to maintain an unbeaten streak in their last four home league games against Hibs. Their most recent defeat in the derby at Tynecastle occurred under the management of Daniel Stendel in 2019.

Ross County are currently 11th in the Scottish Premiership

Dundee has only suffered two losses in the Scottish Premiership this season, yet they currently occupy the ninth position, having managed only one win. Despite being prone to draws, Ross County has faced consecutive league defeats and currently sits in the eleventh position, narrowly trailing this weekend's adversaries in goal difference.

The Staggies have won on their last four top-flight visits to Dundee but it could be a tough test with Tony Docherty's team unbeaten in their last six home games.

Can Ross County avoid three straight defeats?

Motherwell was left devastated last weekend when they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat against Celtic, with the winning goal being scored in the final minute. This unfortunate loss was the third consecutive one-goal defeat for Motherwell, causing them to slip down to fifth place in the standings after a promising start to the season.

Livingston have drawn three out of their past four Scottish Premiership matches, making them the team with the most draws this season, totaling four.

David Martindale's team has a less than impressive track record against Motherwell, failing to secure a win in their previous 10 encounters.

Will Motherwell's luck change?

St Johnstone are the only Scottish Premiership team without a win this season and sit bottom, already four points adrift.

They are away to an Aberdeen side buoyed by their late Europa Conference League draw with HJK Helsinki.

Aberdeen's Bojan Miovski has scored three league goals at home so far this season

The Dons have bounced back from a disappointing start to the season and have now emerged victorious in their previous two league games. Another win for them could catapult them as high as fourth place in the standings. Furthermore, they achieved a clean sheet in all three encounters against St Johnstone last season, securing victories in each instance.

Can St Johnstone finally get off the mark?
