Scheana Shay, from Vanderpump Rules, is determined not to let Jax Taylor stop her and Lala Kent from possibly being part of The Valley.
In a recent episode of her podcast "Scheananigans" on Friday, May 24, Scheana discussed with Janet Caperna and Michelle Lally about Jax's efforts to prevent her from joining his new Bravo show.
Scheana, 39, mentioned that on his podcast, Jax has stated for the second time that he doesn't want her or Lala to join The Valley. He believes it would be disrespectful to the current cast, but Scheana feels differently. She thinks Jax simply doesn't want them to be part of the show, as they have many mutual friends who would support them.
Scheana also pointed out that Jax, 44, may be hesitant to have more Vanderpump Rules stars on The Valley because he is afraid they will expose things he wants to keep hidden. She believes that if she and Lala were on the show, they would call him out on things they are aware of.
Scheana said that Jax first suggested having her and Brock Davies on the show.
She remembered, "When The Valley was being planned, Jax and Brittany Cartwright were the ones who said, 'We want you and Brock in it.' But now that we're going through a phase where you blocked me on Instagram, you're saying, 'We don't want Scheana.'"
Despite Jax’s recent comments, Scheana still praised The Valley‘s ratings success. She agreed with Jax when he said, ‘We don’t need them,’ pointing out that while they may not be necessary, some viewers still enjoy their presence.
Jax and Scheana were part of the original cast when Vanderpump Rules premiered in 2013 as a spinoff of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In 2020, Jax and Brittany announced their departure from the show, while Scheana and Lala, who joined in season 4, continued to be part of Vanderpump Rules but also made appearances on The Valley.
The spinoff series, premiered earlier this year, features VPR OG Kristen Doute, Michelle, Jesse Lally, Danny Booko, Nia Booko, Janet, Jason Caperna, Jasmine Goode, and Zack Wickham. The Valley has been well-received and renewed, while Vanderpump Rules will be on hiatus before filming season 12.

Rumors began circulating about Scheana and Lala trying to capitalize on the VPR hiatus by appearing more on The Valley. Jax, on the other hand, was not interested in this idea.

"I personally don’t think we need to bring anyone from Vanderpump Rules over," he mentioned to Brittany during their recent "When Reality Hits" podcast. "I'm not trying to turn this into Vanderpump Rules. Right now, the answer is a definite no. However, things could change in the future, especially for parties."
He went on to explain, "The Valley is its own show, separate from Vanderpump Rules. I take pride in our show and I believe it wouldn't be fair to our cast members who have put in so much effort to just bring in new people."
Don't forget to tune in to the third part of the Vanderpump Rules season 11 reunion on Bravo this Tuesday, May 28 at 8 p.m. ET. And don't miss The Valley airing on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET. If you miss any episodes, you can stream them on Peacock the following day.
