Ryan Reynolds has confirmed that Rob McElhenney will make a cameo in the third Deadpool movie, Deadpool & Wolverine. However, Reynolds mentioned that he can't share any more information at the moment.
During the latest episode of Welcome to Wrexham, which aired on Thursday, May 23, Reynolds, 47, revealed that due to his busy schedule, he had to invite his cochair, Rob McElhenney, to the set of Deadpool in London. They discussed all things related to Wrexham, and Reynolds even promised McElhenney a role in the upcoming Deadpool film.
He went on to say that he couldn't reveal which character Rob plays in Deadpool, as he joked about being chased by a Marvel drone with his kids. (Reynolds is married to Blake Lively and they have four children together.)
The majority of the scene was purposely blurred out, showing only Reynolds and McElhenney's heads, due to confidentiality concerns. The screen displayed "Deadpool Censored Material," concealing the set and costumes.
“Oh, a spray tan trailer,” McElhenney, 47, quipped. “Don’t have to blur that, no spoiler there.”
